You need a car to get here, but in return you live in the middle of the hiking terrain with unique opportunities both in summer and winter. The home is used by the host as a holiday home when it is not rented out. Bed linen and towels are included. The 5th bed is in the living room. If you want to live in a rural area, but at the same time close to the city, this is something for you. It's not a party place. Animals are welcome.

Decorated with a mix of classic retro furniture and modern furniture. The living room has a nice view of Steinåsen. Tårnheim on Hølonda, 45 km from Trondheim, is 10 meters high, with four floors. Bygd i tre med utstrakt gjenbruk av materialer. Kitchenette in the first, library in the second, bedroom with good view in the third and a cozy pavilion with balcony on the 4th floor. The tower is located 45 km from Trondheim. Built in wood with extensive reuse of material. In Jårheim close by is fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with toilet. You can enjoy the view on hills, reading books from the second flor library.

Idyllic place in the forest with sauna!

Here you can really get away from city noise. Ski trails are rigt behind the corner and you can enjoy a hot sauna after a long day outdoor. We live upstairs in the house, but we rent out a simple independent apartment in the groundfloor. In December 2021 we refurbished it with a new bathroom, sauna and kitchenette. Although the house seems remote, it's only a 15/20 minutes walk to the tram that takes you directly to the city center. Let us know if there is anything you'd like to know! :-)

The apartment has a porch with seating. Parking is available just outside the apartment. 10 minutes walk to the grocery store (Coop Extra and Coop Prix). In winter, there are ski slopes just outside the door. In summer, it is only a short walk to the countryside.

The cabin in the woods is located on Byneset in Trondheim municipality. Nice view of Trondheim fjord and rich wildlife. Close to Byneset golf at Spongdal. 30 min drive by car to Trondheim. The road to the cabin is somewhat steep and winding. In winter, the road is cleared and salted. It is an advantage to have a good winter car.
