The Tower at Underhill

Tucked in the woods of New Jersey, less than an hour from New York City, close to hospitals and corporations, Underhill is nestled against Wildcat Ridge, with a view of a unique beaver pond. The tower rooms of this earth-roof stone home is a perfect place to get away, while being close. The tower suite is comprised of a dining area with a circular stairway leading to the unique bedroom, that features 12-foot ceilings. The suite has a separate kitchenette, bathroom, and garage parking space.

Just five minutes from Lake Mohawk and a short walk to Tomahawk Lake Water Park, you’ll be close to local restaurants, cozy pubs, boutique shops, wedding venues, and scenic hiking and biking.

Secluded setting, queen size bed

You will be renting a private bedroom plus a shared bathroom in a single family home located on a peaceful and quiet three acre lot, surrounded by nature. Please note that we do not offer kitchen facilities or a formal dining area. However, we allow guests use of our shared by all sunroom, which has a small fridge, microwave, coffee machine, seating and a TV, but please be aware that our pets (cats and birds) have access to this shared room (but never to the guest areas).

This little house offers a lot for visitors to the area: - near Route 15 and minutes to US 80 - two comfortable queen sized beds - sofa bed that comfortably sleeps 2 - kitchen with basic cooking amenities - rear patio with grill and fire pit - walking distance to boat rentals - near trails and restaurants - popular wedding venues within 15 mile drive: Perona Farms, Waterloo Village, Crossed Keys Estate, Sussex Fairgrounds -Mountain Creek approximately 20 miles away.

The Boonton Revival- A restored treasure in NJ

The Boonton Revival is an updated 100-year-old home within walking distance of historic Main Street, quaint restaurants, and unique shops. The nearby train and bus stations can connect to the NYC Port Authority (7th Ave) in one hour. Newark Liberty Airport is a 30-minute ride; you can be at the Jersey Shore in an hour! We are avid gardeners who enjoy raising beautiful koi fish. Guests are welcome to admire our pond and sample in-season vegetables.

We are located in a very convenient spot of the town, everything is near; convenience stores, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, pharmacies, farmer markets, gyms, gas stations, laundromats, bus stop, police and fire stations, beautiful parks and post office. Local and NY bus stop around the corner.

Crystal Springs Resort and Warwick Drive in Theatre are 30 minute drive if you want to have a spa day and catch a movie under the stars.
