Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Spittal an der Drau District

We've really been to a lot of Air BnBs, but the slanted cottage surpassed everything. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, there are a large number of board games (the air hockey was really fun) and books and everything is furnished with great attention to detail. Tresdorf is a great starting point for hikes and other activities (recommended at this point, among other things, the herbal hike by Hana Lerchbaumer). We had a great time with our dog Toni (even feeding bowls and a mobile fence available), who felt very welcome. Those looking for peace and comfort will find both. The place is exactly what you expect from pictures - we were 2 families and had plenty of both privacy and shared space to spend time together. Apart from the fact the house was rather cold upon our arrival (the heating didn't yet heat the cold building), everything was perfect, and both Sandra and Edith (the hosts) did their best to make us feel welcome and comfy. Sandra was always ready to answer our questions and gave us local tips, too. Edith even brought us homemade cake .. simply sweet. The place is perfect for a winter retreat - cca 20 mins to Katschberg for good skiing, snow tubing hill just a few hundred meters from the house, and a safe garden behind the house. It is also well-accessible, even in snowy conditions. As soon as the house got warm, we never wanted to leave .. and the sauna after the day on the slopes was a treat .. :) Overall, we can only recommend this place, and we thank you, Sandra and Edith, once again! I hope to be back :)

The best host of Airbnb that we ever met: warm and friendly. The house is like a castle, it's very peculiar and set in a quiet place; you are literally surrounded by nature and we were lucky enough to see the stars were well at night It doesn't take much by car if you want to visit the Kaerten lakes from there, and cities like Spittal and Lienz. We had a great stay at Flavio and Moira's place! It is bigger than it appears on the listings and though it was initially colder (500 year old house and very low outside temperatures), we settled in very well. We enjoyed the nearby (~25m) ski resorts as well as hiking and a great ice rink right in the village. Thank you!

Very nice, cozy and clean apartment. Close to a sculptor. There are plenty of amenities from the sauna, pool, games for children… we enjoyed the most on the lounge chairs on the terrace by the fireplace. Any recommendations!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Ski bus in front of the door, you can also use the facilities of the hotel. Quiet atmosphere and the apartment has all the comforts. Excellent accommodation with great beds, not a moment regretted our booking!

It was very nice to stay at Maria's place again. The location is really perfect. It is less than 5 minutes to the ski bus and everything else is within walking distance. Maria is a very kind and open hostess. We'll be back.

great place to stay!!! We stayed for 7 days with 6 or for 3 days with 8 adults and dog, there was enough room for everyone. We were over Christmas and the whole house inside and out was extraordinarily great and lovingly decorated, even with Christmas tree for us, the whole family of Nina was very helpful, there were no problems at all! We felt super comfortable! I would recommend the place to anyone at any time! We will be happy to come back.

An absolutely fantastic stay in the mountains! The alpine hut in the Lesachtal exceeded all our expectations – surrounded by beautiful nature, with hiking trails right outside the door and numerous birds of prey, alpine jackdaws, alpine swifts and even vultures that we could observe. The hut itself is authentic, cosy and very clean – equipped with everything you need on an alpine pasture: a gas kitchen, a wood-burning stove and a very special flair. The jacuzzi at 1600 m altitude was a unique experience! Barbecuing with a view of the mountains was also unforgettable. Friendly cows grazed in the area and the fresh mountain spring water right by the house rounded off the natural experience. Madlyn was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. A clear recommendation for all those who seek peace, nature and originality!

Staying in this house was just amazing. It's much nicer in reality than the pictures. Especially the large windows make the stay so special – be it at breakfast overlooking the countryside or in the evening cozy on the couch in front of the fireplace. The house is superbly equipped – not only with all the kitchen utensils and machines you need, but also with many practical things like salt, oil, pepper, dishwasher tablets or washing powder and much more. This makes the stay pleasantly uncomplicated. The communication with Jaap was always warm, quick and very attentive. You can tell that he really cares about making his guests feel comfortable – thank you for that. A special extra: the pool is currently being completely redone. If you arrive in summer, you can look forward to a completely new, beautiful pool. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back.

We chose this accommodation mainly because of the proximity to the surrounding lakes and hiking destinations. There were 12 of us in Philips house for three nights and we had a wonderful time, nothing was missing. We would come back anytime!

Five of us stayed at this Cabin for a work trip for a long stay. It’s got so much character and everything you need for a comfortable stay, the sauna is a bonus. It’s located in a very peaceful spot in Heiligenblut surrounding by green grass, wildlife and mountains. The Heiligenblut town is a 5 minute drive away with a well-equipped supermarket and some great restaurants (especially Café-Restaurant Dorfstub'm). I would also like to say how attentive and accommodating the host is, he was always on hand for any questions and quick to action any issues (if any). Great stay and highly recommended.

We returned to Oddny's house and we were satisfied again. There is nothing to change. The apartment is very tidy, well equipped and close to the slope. We had wonderful stay here.

Had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Spacious bedrooms and kitchen and balconies are wonderful in terms of sun location. Within walking distance of the lake and quiet location. No further criticisms.

We really enjoyed the few days here! Above all, the quiet location and the diverse possibilities in the area made this stay an unforgettable experience. Not to forget, of course, is the beautiful cabin, where you can find everything you need for a short vacation!
