The flat is lovely and has everything one might need. It is just a short walk away from the beach/sea, center of town and supermarket. Francesco was a lovely host, very accommodating and gave us great recommendations- would highly recommend il convivio! Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely flat. 3 air conditioning units, so even during very hot days the place is comfortable. Very clean too. The town is very small, but with the car it is a very strategic location to reach the best beaches in max 20 minutes (Michelino, Roccette, Il Tono, Grotticelle). Tropea is at 20 min max by car, where you can spend wonderful summer evenings. The host Vittoria has been extremely responsive and helpful!

We had a lovely three nights in Briatico. A very peaceful, quiet and walkable town, with a few local shops, cafe and restaurant handy to walk to. There was a small local market on the day after our arrival. Also well placed to visit Tropea and Capo Vaticano. Pietro was great with helpful recommendations. He explained everything thoroughly and was at hand for a few minor things that were rectified almost immediately! The apartment was spotless with touches to make it feel more homely. We were also welcomed very thoughtfully with a bottle of local wine, and local oranges and lemons, together with some breakfast goodies and local coffee. We had a wonderful stay at Mamasosa's Villas! Marisa is a warm and flexible host. We arrived late after a long drive from Rome, but she welcomed us with a smile. The villas are brand new and very clean, like a hotel. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including a grill. The spacious private garden is well-maintained, with fruit trees like pomegranates and figs, which we enjoyed for breakfast. You might even be able to make fresh orange juice if it’s harvest time! Parking is always convenient, and the area is quiet, perfect for relaxation. The best beaches, like Groticelle and Riaci with turquoise waters, are just 10-20 minutes away by car, and Tropea is only 10 minutes away for dining and exploring. A tip: visit before mid-September as many tourist spots close for the season after that. We had a fantastic vacation and highly recommend Marisa’s villas!
