Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Spider Lake

Where do I start… this was the perfect getaway for myself, my husband and our fur baby. The house was exactly as described and is placed in the most peaceful neighborhood - while also being minutes away from everything Traverse City has to offer! Ramy is the most wonderful host; answering all our questions and suggesting some great local spots as well. We felt immediately at ease and truly could enjoy our vacation thanks to Ramy and this perfect lil home. We hope to be back next time we visit Traverse City! ☺️

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Craig's home I believe is closer to Solon, but in that general area. A great home for 2-4 people. Country setting is very peaceful. The tip to pick up any groceries before heading to the home is a great tip as it is 7-10 minutes from a local market. We enjoyed our relaxing time in the home for couple of days. We loved the use of the kitchen, and use of the washer & dryer.

we had the best time staying here!! perfect distance to all of the local shops and downtown. it felt very cozy and all of the amenities were amazing. 10/10 reccomend and would definitely stay again!!

We brought our dogs and stayed for a few nights, and it truly felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. I appreciated the fenced-in yard for our dogs, which made our stay much more carefree. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that we could see the lake from the living room since it wasn't mentioned in the description. Taylor was very friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. I highly recommend this cozy cabin in Traverse City. The location is excellent, as it is close to Interlochen and not far from Frankfort.

Kendall was very responsive and extremely helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area and places to eat. She was also very friendly and kind and easy to get ahild of. The place was very clean and organized and had everything we needed. I would stay again!

So happy with all aspects of our stay and would highly recommend this home rental! Kristi is one of best AirBNB hosts we have ever interacted with - you cannot go wrong choosing her place. One tip - when going to the Leelanau side - allow more time for travel than you would think. It's not far, but there's almost always heavy traffic (especially with the current construction that is going on).

We had a very relaxing time. Chose this home as our get-away to celebrate our anniversary and had no regrets. Would recommend this a place to anyone looking to enjoy nature the neigbors being heard but not seen due to many beautiful trees...bring your 4wd vehicle and you will be fine 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

A-Frame of Mind was perfect in every way! It was clean, roomy, beautifully decorated, and cozy! Everything we needed was available and stores were nearby for any items we didn't have. I wish I lived closer, and I would make this an annual visit. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. My family loved this cabin. It was one of our favorite AirBnBs. Beautiful backyard and hiking trails. Cool and funky decor. The front porch was nice to drink coffee on in the mornings. We took a peaceful canoe ride. Kitchen was supplied and everything was clearly labeled. Thank you for the stay.

Book it! Go enjoy the state parks, higgins lake, the zoo, miles of trails for bikes or walking and have a beautiful place to call home for the night. Food and ice cream all over the area. It's the kinda of place where they make you pump your gas befor you pay. Took my boat and overall it was just a great time! The place is clean and quiet. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Katie is an excellent host and has put a lot of work into the cabin. It has a true Northern Michigan feel. It is centrally located to many Northern Michigan destinations.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was perfect for everyone, as each cabin offered privacy while being just a short walk away from one another. The property is stunning and peaceful, and nothing beats enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the lake, with mist rising off the water. Beth and Keegan were fantastic hosts. Their thorough preparation meant we hardly needed to communicate, which allowed us to fully relax. My family and I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to couples, families, and friends. It's the ideal spot for those seeking both privacy and a sense of togetherness. We can't wait to come back!

This is our 2nd time staying at Down Memories Lane, and it was just as remarkable as last time! We love being able to have the peace and privacy you find at this property, while still being close to anything you could want to do in Traverse City! You will not find a more polite and accommodating host than Christine, I am sure of it! If we end up coming back for another softball tournament in the future, we will most certainly make it our 3rd stay at Down Memories Lane. 🙂
