A beautiful yard and unique cabin, peaceful place

The Indian Lake Chalet is sublime!! The perfect place for a relaxing or active family trip—we did lots of both! The house is super clean and perfectly appointed. It was comfortable and spacious for our multigenerational group of 11. We’d very happily stay here again!

The cabin was exactly as advertised, very clean and comfortable and had everything a group would need. Chad was responsive to questions and offered an early check in if needed. The stairs down to the lake were steep but he warned about those as well. Hot tub was wonderful and outside amenities were fun! Great place for a big group and families. The only hiccup we had encountered was, after we cleaned thoroughly and checked out I was told there was a small stain on the sheets and we would have to purchase new sheets, even though we did a deep clean and walk through of the house like it was my own. There was a dispute over it as I didn’t see it and felt it was unnecessary to expect that of a guest especially since washing them should take care of the problem, and I was surprised to say the least that he wanted to charge us for a full king set. We did not end up replacing them but it was an unexpected exchange. Due to that conversation it gave my group and I a reason to not rebook.

Warren was attentive and helpful. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. Very happy dogs were allowed without massive fees like many other places. Rustic is a good description as it has some updates but definitely in the older side but still very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

This was a great spot close to town. I really appreciated that the house was well stocked with paper products, towels, essentials, and cleaning products! The Xbox was a lifesaver during our rainy stay.

We spent 4 nights here for a girl's beach trip. The cabin has everything we need, the beds and furniture are comfortable and the decor is cute. The location is great except the highway that separates you from the beach. There are local places to eat and drink--the Neon Loon has great coffee and Shirkey's has great ice cream! I loved having my dog with me on this trip.

we have stayed at many AirBnBs but this one was one of my favorites. We loved the architecture of the home and the view of the lake was amazing. We loved exploring Alexandria and coming back in the evens to relax and do some fishing. It was a great stay.

Very cozy cabin! The neighborhood felt very safe and clean. Even though there were neighbors nearby, the place felt very secluded and like you were in the middle of the woods! Beautiful location, lots to do nearby, but also enough to do at/around the cabin itself! Definitely would stay here again!

This lakeside cabin was a breath of fresh air! Enjoyed staying here with my two pups after crossing the country to play in a stressful golf tournament. The beautifully updated & well appointed space made me feel right at home and put me in a great state of mind for golfing. Rained during my stay but look forward to using the kayaks graciously provided during next stay. Thanks Dustin!

Beautiful, clean home with plenty of room for a larger group. The outdoor space and amenities were great for the warmer days, and the arcade kept everyone entertained on the cooler days. The lake was a little weedy but we still enjoyed it. Very peaceful neighborhood. Thank you!

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! The cabin itself was exactly like the pictures. It was clean and homey, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The provided beach towels were a welcome addition. The kitchen was fully stocked. The center island was perfect for serving food for out large family, and for sitting and chatting. The beach area was very clean, with a firepit perfect for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. It was fun to fish off the dock, and we enjoyed using the kayak that was provided. The hosts were great at communicating with us, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. This cabin is on a beautiful lake with so much to do! Our family is already planning our next stay! Many thanks to our hosts for making our vacation one we will never forget!

We had a beautiful short weekend F-S! Everything was as described and even though Carol told us where to find a nicer beach, we swam right here! A bit Weedy, but so refreshing!! Us four 50somethings looking to relax and catchup, worked perfectly. When we needed something Carol made it happen, awesome response time!

This was our group's 3rd trip to Cheryl's home on Granite Lake! We absolutely love it there! The place is very spacious, comfortable, and has all the touches of home. There is so much to do, kayaking, swimming, hot tub....the list goes on! The view of the lake is amazing. Every time that we return, there has been upgrades to the home and property. The fact that we can bring our boats is a huge plus. This year fishing was fantastic! Many northern pike between 23" - 25", a few bass and bonus 25" walleye! Cheryl is so accommodating to requests and answers any questions you may have. She is quick to respond and fun to chat with. We hope to return in 2026! Thank you, Cheryl and Family!

My family and I just stayed at Jeff’s cabin given its close proximity to a family reunion we had nearby. Jeff was an extremely responsive host through the app. Anytime I had a question., he was very quick to lend an answer. The house was easy to find with GPS and his instructions, and the privacy and seclusion of the property were exactly what we were looking for. He also offered plenty of great amenities, like firewood, canoes, yard games and fire skewers. Anytime we visit Minnesota to see family, we rarely have a home base for all of us to congregate at for an extended period of time, Jeff’s property allowed us just that. Would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Absolutely loved staying! I will recommend this place for a family looking to have the best lake days! Kids had the best weekend. Kevin and his family were amazing hosts!

We appreciated Diane’s hospitality. The cabin was great and they put in a dock the day we got there. Such a great place to stay!
