This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

We are a convenient driving distance (<10 mins) to the nearest village. The whole area is brimming with activities and beauty not to be missed during your stay.

One bedroom farm cottage with separate shower room. A comfortable living space with modern kitchen/dinning area and small wood/turf burning stove. This cottage is situation on a working farm with fabulous views over the Sperrin mountains. It is centrally located to many local attractions including An Creggan Visitors Centre, Gortin Glens Forest Park, Davagh Forest Park and Observatory, Ulster American Folk Park and Wellbrook beetling Mill.

The Black Shack @ Bancran School

The Black Shack is a luxurious, detail-led Tiny House retreat, with a relaxed open plan living space that features soft leather sofas and a wood-burning stove... a genuine treat after a long day exploring the local area (when you're not unwinding in the private hot tub, that is!) The Black Shack is at the rear of Bancran School our family home and in a quiet area. This listing is for two guests however families with kids can contact us.

Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
