Holiday rentals with a patio in Southwest Harbor

This was a really nice place convenient to the things we were planning to do. We really enjoyed our stay and it was so quiet and comfortable.

Elizabeth’s place was the perfect retreat - a peaceful home near Acadia National Park which is what my friends and I came to Maine for. Check-in was easy and Elizabeth was also very responsive to any questions I had. The Airbnb was spacious and clean, and the beds were super comfortable - we slept like babies! I appreciated that she provided a list of things to do/see in Blue Hill, for the times we weren’t exploring Acadia and the neighboring cities/towns like Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Overall, we made great memories here and would recommend!

Super clean. We arrived at night. The morning sun lit up the whole apartment making it really beautiful. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Close enough to walk into downtown for breakfast.

This place was perfect for me! Right in the center of town with easy access to all my favorite bar harbor shops and restaurants. Instructions were super clear on check in and I loved having the parking at balance rock inn. This is also the only Airbnb that I’ve stayed in that had an excess towels which was amazing after long days of hiking and multiple showers.

Very happy with this stay. Comfy place with a beautiful view, comfy bed, and good area to hang out at. They also included a pack in play for my infant son, and he was very happy to sleep in it. One word of caution, its street name is very similar to a nearby street so make sure you pay attention or you'll end up at the wrong house!

We had a very nice day at James’s place. It had everything we needed and the space was very well thought out. Would recommend!

A very cozy home with great bedroom linens and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the variety of spices available for cooking. I highly recommend that you stop at the Super Walmart in Ellsworth on your way to the Airbnb. (45 mins north) This is your best place to get a variety of groceries if you plan on cooking, which we did. There are two adorable towns close by to the Airbnb if you don't want to go all the way to Bar Harbor. We did day trips to Acadia and appreciated coming home to a quiet location right on the water. Emma was a very responsive and friendly host. Highly recommend.

My partner and I stayed here on our trip to Acadia and I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! Beautiful interior and stellar view of the water behind the property. Wonderful bathroom (with an overhead heater!!), comfortable bed, and everything we could ask for in a kitchen. Like other reviews, the stay is right off the road so you can hear some cars, but I thought the place had very adequate sound proofing. 10/10 would come back

We had an incredible stay at the Blue Hill Bay house! Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, the home feels wonderfully secluded, yet inviting. The expansive windows, especially from the top floor loft, make you feel like you’re living in a treehouse. We loved spending evenings around the fire pit, which is surrounded by thoughtfully curated plants, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The grill was easy to use, making outdoor meals a breeze. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. We also appreciated how thoughtfully designed the space was, especially since it's hard to find a cute place that also warmly welcomes dogs. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate, this place is a gem! We can’t wait to return.

This was a gorgeous place. Belfast was a cute little town not far away. We enjoyed eating at Rollies Bar and Grilland walking around town. Hannaford grocery store was close with average prices. We had approximately 1 1/2 hour drive when we visited Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor which were exceptional. We enjoyed the food at Geddys and Bar Harbor Inn. We also traveled to Owls head lighthouse and hiked through Camden State Park. This was a nice location we enjoyed our stay.

Brian’s AirBnb is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The keypad check in is simple. The home is spotless. There are plenty of linens and kitchenware. The home is close to Acadia and downtown Ellsworth. If you want a short drive to Acadia and MDI, this is your place!

We loved our three nights at Seabank. The house was comfortable and immaculate, the kitchen well equipped, and the location—overlooking tidal Goose Bay with views toward Mount Desert Island—could not have been more tranquil (plus an easy 20-minute drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor). Robard was a terrific host, quick to answer our questions, and even lending a hand to ensure that we were able to check in early. We lucked into gorgeous weather and spent lots of time outdoors, reading on the deck, kayaking in the bay at high tide, and relaxing around the fire pit.

Such a peaceful and charming getaway! Loved the private backyard space and all of the cute design details. Plenty of fans to keep us cool and lots of supplies/activities. The little radio speaker was great and loved that there were some guidebooks to read and games to play. The first aid kit was fully stocked too which was so handy. SO glad that we had this spot to come back to after long days in bar harbor, nice to be away from the touristy area and to have such a cozy space to unwind. The neighboring town of Ellsworth was super cute and definitely worth a visit if you stay here. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to visit the area.

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

The house was absolutely charming—well-designed, cozy, and fully functional, with everything from the kitchen to the bathroom in great condition. It was also wonderfully warm and comfortable throughout our stay. Our hosts were kind, responsive, and respectful of our privacy. By the end of the week, it truly felt like home. Part of our stay involved remote work, and when I asked about the internet connection, Peter went above and beyond by installing a modem with direct LAN access. That level of care made a big difference. Overall, it was a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Great home in a great location. Very spacious and clean and Corey was very responsive. We had 0 problems with there being a restaurant down stairs. Beautiful views of the bay and a near by field where we watched little kittens playing with each other! It was adorable. We slept great and felt right at home!

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

Great location and clean. As noted in the description, the walls are thin, but we had no issues. The internet connection is spotty, in case you are planning to do some remote work, but we weren't, and had a great time.

This location was perfect for walking to all of the shops and restaurants on Main St. as well as the shore path, and it was a short drive to Acadia National Park. The townhouse was clean and well maintained, and it comfortably accommodated our party of 9 people. Matsa was very good about communicating information and quick to respond if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this rental.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

Patrick's place was exactly as described. We'll appointed. It was in a private and serene location. Views of the ocean from the deck and windows facing the ocean were spectacular! Patrick was extremely responsive from booking through departure. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone not wanting the hustle and bustle of the Bar Harbor area. Utterly enjoyed our stay💖✨️

This place was perfect for our family adventures! The kids enjoyed the games, ping pong, and pool at the office- when we weren’t out exploring. Randy was great, and made sure we were taken care of!

A great place to stay about 20-30 minutes from bar harbor and Acadia very centrally located. Very responsive and fantastic host I highly recommend him beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood and peaceful surroundings. O would definitely stay again.
