Family-friendly holiday rentals in South-Western FInland

The condo was lovely. We truly loved our stay. It was a perfect home away from home for my family and two young kids (a 3 year old and 0 year old). The location was great. Everything was beautiful. It was sparkly clean. The owner was hospitable and timely responded to all inquiries. The condo was conveniently located just 80 minutes from Helsinki and was near the sea, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The listing indicated it had 4 bedrooms. Only three bedrooms were accessible to us, which was perfectly fine as there was plenty of room and we loved our stay. A handicap friendly elevator was offered, if needed (which we utilized for toting the heavy bags with lots of kids' stuff up to the third floor). The house had two full bathrooms and was equipped with a bubble bath and a sauna. Everything about the apartment was charming, immaculate, cozy, stylish, and just perfect. At the time we made the reservation, we inquired about our need for a crib or pack n play for our baby. The owner promptly responded that a pack n play would be provided. Not only was there a pack n play set up when we arrived, there was also a high chair set up at the dining room table. We appreciated the thoughtful and sweet gesture. Having the special items at the condo made traveling with a baby comfortable and easy. The owner was extremely friendly and courteous. Once we checked in, the owner reached out to us to make sure everything was great and assured us we could contact him with any questions/concerns during our stay. The three accessible bedrooms were on the third floor. Two bedrooms were large and had balconies. The third bedroom was smaller and had two skylights. There was a fabulous bathroom on the third floor complete with a shower and a sauna. The second floor had a full and beautiful kitchen with all the amenities we could need for cooking in the condo, a comfy and stylish living area, a long dining room table, a beautiful bathroom with a tub and shower, and a balcony with seaside views. The bottom floor had our entrance, a foyer, and the stairwell.

Wir sind eine dreiköpfige Familie und waren zum 2.Mal dort und wir werden wiederkommen. Es ist wunderschön und man fühlt sich sehr wohl.

Very beautiful accomodation and neighborhood. Amazing jacuzzi and sauna with view on wood and lake. Very easy and helpful communication with owner. Recommendation!

Beautiful cosy old house with an atmospheric lived in feel - enjoyed admiring all the beautiful old furniture, books and knick knacks. The host Tiina was super helpful and responded promptly to all questions before and during our stay. Excellent location for the Teijo national park and little villages nearby.

Great stay! House is very nice, spacious and clean, big yard for kids to play. Public transportation (bus) within walk-in distance if needed, easy drive to Turku and Naantali. Host is very fast to reply.

Viihdyttiin hyvin pari yötä tässä asunnossa. Sijainti oli hyvällä paikalla, mistä helppo kulkea julkisilla, mutta silti rauhallinen. Asunto itsessään siisti, kotoisa ja isompi miltä kuvissa näyttää. Kiitos!

Excellent séjour dans cette maison typique finlandaise à l’extérieur, mais tellement atypique à l’intérieur 😍 … la maison de Mari vous donne l’impression de rentrer dans un autre temps avec ses vieux meubles et objets … et pourtant elle offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour très réussi ! L’accueil de Mari était très chaleureux et ses explications sur l’histoire de cette maison de famille très intéressantes. La maison et les dépendances regorgent de trésors … un musée à domicile 😍 Pour un séjour qui sort de l’ordinaire je recommande à 100% !

3nights & days gorgeous stay at Juha’s warm, comfortable , spacious & quiet apartment . 20 minutes walk to centre. There is a bus stop out front of house . Delicious food at Turku Market Hall . Would return to Juha’s & Turku in a heartbeat . Nanthali is very lovely too

Huikean kaunis paikka, jossa vietimme erittäin rentouttavan loman. Talo on todella viehättävä niin sisältä kuin ulkotiloiltaan. Ympäristö ja sijainti mykistävät. Laadukkaita harrastusvälineitä oli laidasta laitaan, mielestämme parasta ajanvietettä oli kuitenkin hiljaisuudesta ja luonnosta nauttiminen. Saunominen onnistui lähistön vierasvenesatamissa. Viihdyimme erittäin hyvin, tänne palaamme uudelleen!

Delightful accommodation that allows easy access to the city center. I love the location and the vibe that Petsamo radiates. I found the accommodation perfectly tidy and clean. The stay was incredibly pleasant, and I felt at home. The owners are incredibly sweet, and I have never met such kind and selfless people in my life. Highly recommended for both short and long stays! They speak English really well so that's a great plus!

Majoitus niin kuin kuvissa, majoittaja kommunikoi aktiivisesti ja nopeasti. Alue oli rauhallinen, eikä liian kaukana kaikesta. Kaikki perustarpeet löytyivät. :)

An absolutely stunning place in beautiful surroundings. The host Matti was very helpful and communicate, there is tons of space, very good amenities (especially considering the place is on an island in the Baltic!), the fishing in the area is great, the small bay is peaceful and pretty, the saunas and hot tubs are good, there are interesting historical things to see in Dalsbruk and Västanfjärd. Highly recommend for an extended family or a group of friends.

Vietimme ystävien kanssa ihanan loman tässä mökissä, ja voin lämpimästi suositella sitä kaikille! Mökki oli todella hieno, tunnelmallinen ja tilava – täydellinen paikka rentoutumiseen. Ympäristö oli uskomattoman rauhallinen, joten siellä sai todella nauttia luonnon rauhasta. Mökki oli hyvin varusteltu, ja sisustus oli viihtyisä, mikä teki olostamme mukavan ja kotoisan. Kaiken kaikkiaan mahtava kokemus, ja ehdottomasti vierailun arvoinen paikka!

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Villa Harald. The villa is very well equipped and accommodates easily even a bigger group (we were 8 in total). The location is incredibly beautiful as well. Couldn’t have hoped for a better weekend getaway!
