Family-friendly holiday rentals in South-Western FInland

The condo was lovely. We truly loved our stay. It was a perfect home away from home for my family and two young kids (a 3 year old and 0 year old). The location was great. Everything was beautiful. It was sparkly clean. The owner was hospitable and timely responded to all inquiries. The condo was conveniently located just 80 minutes from Helsinki and was near the sea, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The listing indicated it had 4 bedrooms. Only three bedrooms were accessible to us, which was perfectly fine as there was plenty of room and we loved our stay. A handicap friendly elevator was offered, if needed (which we utilized for toting the heavy bags with lots of kids' stuff up to the third floor). The house had two full bathrooms and was equipped with a bubble bath and a sauna. Everything about the apartment was charming, immaculate, cozy, stylish, and just perfect. At the time we made the reservation, we inquired about our need for a crib or pack n play for our baby. The owner promptly responded that a pack n play would be provided. Not only was there a pack n play set up when we arrived, there was also a high chair set up at the dining room table. We appreciated the thoughtful and sweet gesture. Having the special items at the condo made traveling with a baby comfortable and easy. The owner was extremely friendly and courteous. Once we checked in, the owner reached out to us to make sure everything was great and assured us we could contact him with any questions/concerns during our stay. The three accessible bedrooms were on the third floor. Two bedrooms were large and had balconies. The third bedroom was smaller and had two skylights. There was a fabulous bathroom on the third floor complete with a shower and a sauna. The second floor had a full and beautiful kitchen with all the amenities we could need for cooking in the condo, a comfy and stylish living area, a long dining room table, a beautiful bathroom with a tub and shower, and a balcony with seaside views. The bottom floor had our entrance, a foyer, and the stairwell.

We had an absolutely terrific stay. Beautiful location, and the place was split very nicely into different areas. Great to visit as a family or with friends. The highlight was definitely the wood sauna with a view to the sea, and being able to jump in the water after the sauna!

Beautiful cosy old house with an atmospheric lived in feel - enjoyed admiring all the beautiful old furniture, books and knick knacks. The host Tiina was super helpful and responded promptly to all questions before and during our stay. Excellent location for the Teijo national park and little villages nearby.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin very much. Recommended.

The lake house is perfectly located, the hosts are incredibly friendly and there are plenty of activities available. Would recommend!

Very entertained for a couple of nights in this apartment. The location was in a good location, easy to get to by public transportation, but still peaceful. The apartment itself is clean, cozy, and bigger than it looks in the photos. Thanks!

The cottage matched the description well. Really functional for 8 adults. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped. Peaceful place. Nice surroundings.

The apartment was cozy and well-equipped. Very lush environment; walking/cycling paths and trails near the beach. A parking spot in the yard is a big plus. Good TV. Large cozy balcony overlooking the lake. Great location for a dog family. You can go for a run right from the front door.

Timo is the perfect host! The location is very good for walking around and visiting places in old Rauma. It is also central to other parts of Rauma. Timo provided us with very useful information about where to find food we like, how to visit some islands and beaches and significant historical places in old Rauma. I highly recommend staying at Timo’s, he is generous with his time and his knowledge and his place is great.

We had a wonderful time at Mari's house. It was like staying at a museum, and I mean that in the best possible way, like stepping back in time. The decor was very beautiful and not at all generic like many places. It felt like a childhood visit to the countryside to visit grandparents. Very spacious yet cosy. Mari was wonderful and very kind. She responded quickly to any questions. This is a great place to stay with the family. My kids had a fun time. One of the best stays I had with Airbnb.

Lovely apartment, personal and beautiful decor. Close to the city centre, so the trip was convenient on foot. I highly recommend Juhana and Minna's place to others as well.

We spent the weekend with friends at Folkets hus and the place was absolutely amazing. Better than the pictures. The house is really beautiful and beautifully decorated. Everything worked well and we had no problems. The house is well equipped and all the necessary items, such as kitchen utensils, were found. We recommend it!

In a wonderfully peaceful place, amidst the flowers of an apple tree, a super clean, atmospheric and beautiful upstairs of a wooden house. Host couple is friendly, helpful in everything, very accessible. Perfect choice, I will always come here in the future. Strong recommendation!

An absolutely stunning place in beautiful surroundings. The host Matti was very helpful and communicate, there is tons of space, very good amenities (especially considering the place is on an island in the Baltic!), the fishing in the area is great, the small bay is peaceful and pretty, the saunas and hot tubs are good, there are interesting historical things to see in Dalsbruk and Västanfjärd. Highly recommend for an extended family or a group of friends.

In a wonderfully peaceful place! The tree sauna had good steam baths. Everything you need was found in the cottage! Very flexible check-in. Responding to messages quickly and the info message was really comprehensive.

For the new year, we were looking for a peaceful place where dogs are welcome, the place was wonderfully spacious and atmospheric, there was a wood sauna, and all the other amenities we needed. Would love to come back here in the summer time.
