Cabin holiday rentals in South West Wales

Our stay here was beautiful!! The area is so pretty and peaceful. Lots of walks and trails and the town is not too far away. The town is also lovely with lots of great shops and cafes to mooch around. The lodge itself was welcoming, bright and smelt lovely upon arrival! Very clean and spacious. Beth was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations on the local area as well as making sure we had everything we needed.

We had a lovely time at Rachel's home in Bleddfa. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms have lovely views and a delight to wake up to. From the dining table you can watch the visiting birds on the bird feeder we even had a wood pecker visit. Fabulous to use the hot tub in the evening which was lovely and warm. Great to watch the sheep and we made a friend of Taff the very tame sheep who enjoyed a biscuit or 2. We visited the Elan Valley area, devils bridge and the kite feeding at Gigrin Farm. Lovely long weekend really enjoyed the home and will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely stay at the woodpecker cabin, it's very secluded and you really get the off grid feel! Lots to do in nearby towns too!

Perfect stay in a cosy cabin tucked away in in stunning private woodlands Highlights included the woodfire hot tub, log burner and BBQ. The cabin was well-equipped, peaceful and comfortable. Mylo was a great host - quick to respond and left nice touches like tea, coffee, and Welsh cakes. Highly recommend, especially with lovely walks and amenities in nearby Fishguard. We'll definitely be back!

We had such a lovely stay at The Beehive. The scenery was stunning, peaceful and a perfect escape. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evening with the views all around. The cabin itself was full of character, with loads of little quirks and thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. Everything was clean, cozy, and well looked after. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and looking forward to coming back for a longer stay! :)

We really needed a chill out break ,and this was absolutely perfect . The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed , location was wonderful ,peaceful , and a great area for walking . We can’t wait to go back .

The outdoor space was AMAZING for children. Huge garden space with goals and a little slide and swing. The peacefulness is guaranteed. The lodge itself was spacecious with everything you could need (and this is where Sam doesn't shout about the thoughtfulness of the lodge - I haven't been to another Airbnb where toilet roll, soap, washing up liquid, a sponge, tea/coffee/sugar are there to start you off so that you can rock up and just start your holiday - huge thank you for this Sam). The beds are very comfortable. The games room space was a bonus. The hot tub was huge asset which we even used in the rain. This was maintained on our behalf during our stay. Sam was proactive contacting us on the morning of arrival and sending a dropped pin so that we found the lodge easily (again, how many hosts actually do this). When we asked about what to do about stripping beds etc. he told us not to worry and the cleaning company would do this (yay!!!!!). In short, we will be back.

A lovely stay in gorgeous surrounds! The scenery is beautiful, and the silence at night makes for a truly restorative experience. For future visitors, it’s helpful to keep in mind that "off-grid" means limited refrigeration space—we initially brought more food than the mini fridge could accommodate. Since this is a working farm, there may be interactions with livestock, as we experienced when the neighboring sheep wandered into the meadow. For those with dogs unfamiliar with farm life, this might require some flexibility. However, Hadyn and Caroline went above and beyond to ensure our dog could enjoy the space—at one point even rounding up the sheep themselves! Their dedication made all the difference and added to the charm of this truly special retreat.

We got to the Wales Retreat and from the moment we walked in we flet so at home with the cosy features. The property smelt beautiful all throughout. Everything was spotless and even the fridge was equipped with essentials which was greatly recieved. The loaction is absolutely beautiful and I was in love with our own secluded private decking area with the most comfiest beanbag seats! Pet friendly which was a bonus for our GSP - she loved having a little area outside of her own and tje site was very welcoming to dogs. We will really be booking in again although we sre struggling to find your availability! 🙂

This little lodge was exactly what I was looking for. It was quiet, relaxing, peaceful and decorated so nicely, I felt at home immediately! There were great separate areas and the kitchen had just the right amount of basics you need. Really loved the furnishings and the décor was quaint. The bed was lovely upstairs and there was good options for heating. The place was so clean!! I had 1 night here on my own which was extremely relaxing! Loved the stay and our host was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if in the area, thank you Kirsty!

I really sensed that Stonehaven and Ash lodge would be a special place from the previous reviews and images, but it exceeded my expectations. The land is beautiful - to wake up to the 360 views, and to step into wild meadows and spend my days meandering thorugh the woodland and down by the river was all I could have asked for. Ash lodge is so sweet and stylishly put together, made by hand and with love, again I could ask for nothing, lovely books to read, woodburner, all the comforts and done in an environmentally conscious way. I have only good things to say about this lovely land and I and look forward to seeing Ryan and Katyas journey with Stonehaven, I trust it will become a special place for lots of people. Ryan and Katya were very kind,warm welcoming and expressed sincerely that they would help in any way they could during my stay if needed. I can't wait to return to what feels like a home from home. Amazing stay at the orchard retreat. The perfect place for us and our dog. Private and secure so she could roam around as she pleased. We made use of the fire pit and outside tub, despite the weather. Even in the rain it was a lovely place the cwtch up. Recommend bringing your own bits such as tea, coffee, sugar as there isn’t any at the cabin. Location is great for walking into saundersfoot and 10 mins in the car to Tenby. We will 100% come back again. Thank you!

Well this cottage was something special. The drive on the one mile laneway is not for the faint of heart as you are weaving through amazing woodland/forest. It is worth the effort to get there as the cabin is perched directly on the river and when you open the bedroom window the river is rushing right below. The cottage is rustic but so many nice touches. The solid fuel stove was a highlight but the river took top billing with a lovely step down to the river for those brave enough to jump in. We only wish we had more time to spend there as we only had one night there. It would be great to have the time to explore. If you want privacy this is the place. Apart from David's house on the property there is no other house visible. David is really helpful and friendly. A place worth the effort for those who want something different.

Robs place was a lovely little cabin, plenty big enough for 3 of us,has all the amenities you need,and great WiFi which my daughter loved . lovely peaceful cabin in the woods,and close to Rob if any help is needed. Not too far from from some lovely places to visit. Shame the weather wasn't great for us,but made the most of the time we stayed. Thanks Rob and family.

Steve’s place is amazing. It’s got everything you need for a great stay and all the little extras you might have not thought about. Kitchen is fully equipped to a very good standard, bathrooms have little baskets which include toothpaste, brushes, sanitary towels and more…shower gels, shampoos etc all plenty available throughout the place. Place is clean and spacious. Hot tub and sauna are great, it’s overall been a very relaxing experience.

The cabin is lovely - very cosy and homely with everything you could need. It’s a short walk (gentle gradient) down to the village of Porthgain where there is a bistro and a nice pub for food. If you’re walking the coast path the Strumble Shuttle bus stops right by the pub (3 times a day). We caught the bus to Fishguard and walked back in two sections to Porthgain, and then from Porthgain to Whitesands which is a spectacular walk in good weather.

What a beautiful place! A perfectly peaceful break for my wife's birthday. The Nook is brilliant for a two person stay and a getaway if you want complete relaxation. The surroundings are picturesque and the Hikki bath and firepit are truly unique touches. Emma and Paul were fantastic hosts, great at communicating and have done an incredible job building such a wonderful place. We would definitely recommend. It's close by to lots of sights, towns and things to do, but then you can feel completely relaxed going back to the Nook where it is so private. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful, definitely a memorable stay for us.

We had a wonderful week at Ty Log House. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and so well appointed. It was so clean and tidy. Wonderful location and very private which we loved. David was there to welcome us on arrival and gave us a tour of the place. Very helpful and insightful and shared his knowledge of all the must visit places. We look forward to returning asap. The Cabin in the woods was exactly what we were expecting, Beautifully clean and peaceful. We recommend The Nags Head and The Daffodil Inn for supper and Crwst in Cardigan for brunch. Cardigan is well worth a visit and we did a walk along the estuary with views of the marshes. Cardigan bay is spectacular and nobody there. A great unspoilt quiet part of the country.

Me and my family have had an amazing stay, we was so disappointed to leave. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. The place is exactly as described & all the information written on the listing was helpful and the folder was even more helpful with highlighting any information and giving good suggestions for the local area. Such a lovely cabin & good area as only a 10 minute walk to the beach. I also found it cool how the cabin is actually along the coastal path. I highly recommend! Suitable for all, adults and children :)

The cleanest and coziest cabin I’ve ever stayed at. I really like the calm feeling while staying in the middle of beautiful landscape.

We had the best stay at Maple Lodge! Everything was exactly as described, spotless and the hosts were lovely! Perfect peaceful location! We will definitely be back and have been recommending to our family and friends!
