The place is very nice with beautiful view. We thought it would be a very cold place but apparently not. Our 9 months old boy enjoyed the place a lot, seeing greens and having fresh air on morning walk, swam in the river with cool water, etc. The host, Anuj and Deepika (Pabitra's family), were very helpful and responsive to our concerns and their daughter was very fun when play with our baby, felt like family.

The place is outside of Aritar about 2 km away. So it is a quiet space with some awesome vistas to see from the balcony and garden. Tsegyal has put in some thoughtful touch to the place with doing the house like it should be. The bar, dining, garden and rooms. The only sounds you hear are of birds, beetles and occasional vehicle passing by. Wish we had stayed one more night.

I can guarantee you that you would want to visit this place again. Chetan and Rose have been extremely hospitable and you can see the love and passion in whatever they do around here. Even the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Chetan has designed the place since he has an architectural background and he has integrated that knowledge with a sustainable way of living. The property is stunning, comfortable, spacious, well laid, peaceful and you get scrumptious food at their restaurant. Ample of options for Veg and Non veg. They are currently building a brick oven in their backyard. They have hot shower facility. I Recommend this place for anyone who is looking for tranquility with tasteful living.

Evenings brought a celestial display – stars twinkled, fireflies danced, and peace enveloped us. The homestay truly felt like home. For a quick escape, this idyllic refuge is perfect. Ayesha, our warm host, embodied hospitality. Her local tips, especially the infinity pool, elevated our stay. This unforgettable escape beckons us back in October-December. A testament to nature's power, this homestay guarantees a return visit, solely to lose ourselves again in that breathtaking infinity pool.

Had a very nice time at the Kengbari retreat. The surroundings are so peaceful and the rooms are very spacious. The balcony gives you a surreal view. Chetan was very helpful and helped organise a special candle light dinner for us and accommodated all our requests. Its a steal deal for the price you are paying. Must visit.

The place has our hearts. We enjoyed every aspect of the place, be it the bonfire, morning tea, breakfast and the company of out host Lendhup and Ashish. the place being very basic was very neat and clean. you will find various birds and warm sunlight waking you up and cold winds, hot fire to close your day. this place is much more valuable than it's cost. can't recommend it more.

The location is in the middle of nature surrounded by a lot off tall trees and mountains. Binay is very helpful and friendly host. All the staffs are very well behaved. The property is well maintained and has beautiful garden. The only suggestion is don’t drive by your own car unless you are expert of driving to hills as the last few kms of the stretch is difficult to drive. Better park your vehicle at the top and ask Binay to arrange for cab. Overall the stay was very pleasant.

Good place to visit

The stay is overall satisfactory. Location of the homestay is very good. It's very easy to find. Just by the main road as well as the view from the bedroom is superb. The caretaker Prakash is a very bright boy. He helped us in everything. His guitar and songs are additional thing that we got. Host is also super friendly and communicated very fast. The only thing that we want him to improve is the water drainage system in the toilets. The rest was very good. The rooms are quite spacious and clean.
