A small and beautiful cottage renovated with heart and warmth awaits those who long for a simple rhythm of life. The sleeping area is a barn, a sauna room, as well as the cottage's bedroom and living room. Beautiful views of Lake Saimaa from the sauna (3-4 people). A bay with clean water, swimming is best done from the dock. On a paddle board, boat or canoe trip, you can see a glimpse of the golden eagle. Nearby, the Kummakivi rock formation and rugged scenery on the hiking trail. Carrying water, outdoor toilet, solar power and inverter, refrigerator, gas heater.

Behind the cottage there is a wood storage and a trash can. The sands of the beach have diminished a little over the years. The beach is rocky in some places, but you can easily swim from the jetty in summer. The water in the lake is suitable for swimming. The cottages have an electric and wood sauna. A dock, rowboat and paddleboard at your disposal. Dishwashers, washing machines and an air heat pump to make summer heat easier. In addition, there is also a fireplace to ease the coolness of spring and the darkness of autumn. 8 beds, + sofa bed, so there is plenty of space. The hot tub is available for an additional fee

Log cabin on the shore of a quiet lake

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the lake shore. Hand-carved from thick logs, the cottage exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the special feature of the place is the ringing of the cowbell in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

A 60m2 log cabin on the quiet island of Paanalan, with both ferry and road access. In addition to the cottage, the plot has a wood-fired beach sauna with a water carrier. The cottage is located about 45 km from Jyväskylä. The nearest stores are located in Hankasalmi (about 10 miles away). Paanala Island is one of the 36 quiet areas in Central Finland. Kayaks, sub-boards, a rowing boat, and a tramboline are in use. Drinking water for the cabin comes from a well.

By the waters of Kalainen, the historic ferry house delights in Savonranta by the Oriväri river connecting Paasvesi and Pyyvesi. The house has been completely renovated and the environment restored to its new splendor. The property has two kayaks, a rowboat and the possibility to rent a tub (in summer) and a motorboat, as well as fishing guide services! Our company's professional fishing uses the jetty at the cottage, so the fish are transported through the jetty.
