The electricity-free cottage gives you the opportunity to be present here and now. A separate summer kitchen on top of the rock with amazing views is a point of pleasure. Gas stove and grill available. There's a bed for one in the barn. The sauna has a loft and a pull-out sofa bed. You also have access to a rowing boat and a paddle board. The hot tub heats up for a separate fee. There is a campfire place on the beach. There are a lot of stairs in this place, so please note when booking.

Cottage by the lake

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Smoking and pet free area. Children are wellcome.  Warmly wellcome to our guest!

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Swim, hike, fish at a private salmon pond nearby at Survaa, grill outdoors on the terrace, or simply relax under the stars. A rustic but cozy hideaway for those seeking space, stillness, and simplicity by the lake.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

A charming little eco cabin by the lake Kuolimo

Welcome to this cute little log cabin by lake Kuolimo. This cabin in the woods is not recommended for those seeking all modern facilities. There is an electric stove and a fridge with a freezer and warm running water for washing dishes but only a wood heated sauna to take a bath, an outside house for WC. A sofa bed in a living room and mattress bed for two persons in an open loft. A fireplace. A large deck with a hot tub and a gas grill. Traditional Lappish grillhouse and a rowing boat.

Welcome to enjoy and relax in our cottage in a peaceful setting on the shore of Lake Saimaa. Our Anttola cottage is just a 25-minute drive from Mikkeli's services. The closest grocery store is just a 5-minute drive away in the center of Anttola. If you're looking for a place to stay in the tranquility of nature by the lake, or your interests are camping/hiking, I recommend our cozy cabin for your stay. There is a good road all the way here. Weekly rentals for June–August, Mon–Sun. ☀️

Summer cottage by a lake at Mäntyharju

Nice rebuilt log cottage by lake Siikanen. Cottage is electrified and equiped with cold drinking water and warm shower water system. Peaceful beach opening to direction south. Available a small boat and two SUP-boards. At the yard there is a gas grill and an equipment cottage for firewood and eco wc. Our own summer house is near by (at 150 meter distance) thus help and additional services are often easily found. English and German are spoken by the hosts Timo and Tuula.

Villa Saimaa Swan Bay

In a modern cottage on the shores of Lake Saimaa, you can spend your holiday in a great setting. The large windows of the cottage overlook Lake Saimaa. The wood-heated sauna has soft steam and a large landscape window. The sauna has a large terrace area for lounging and cooking (barbecue and smoker). Good opportunities for fishing, berry picking, cycling, golf, skiing, etc. The year-round outdoor hot tub, rowboat, 2 SUP boards and 2 kayaks are freely available to tenants.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place by the pond and surrounded by the countryside. Grill food outdoors on the fire or smoke your own fish in a smokehouse. Jump into the pond to swim straight from the sauna. Enjoy the sunset and the birdsong on the cottage terrace. You are welcome for one night, a week, a month or the whole summer! We also provide activity equipment such as: electric bicycles, canoes, paddleboards, kayaks, fishing gear, etc.

Rock House, luonnon keskellä, järvinäkymin, Saimaa

Kalliomaja on käsin lähipuista rakennettu. Maja on mukavuuksilla varustettu lämmin maja kalliolla luonnon ja metsän eläinten keskellä. Terassilta on näkymät noin 4 km päähän järvelle auringonlaskun suuntaan. Terassilla erilliset maisemasauna ja lasitettu tunnelmallinen grillikota. Mökki on täydellinen pariskunnalle ja oikein hyvät pienelle perheelle. Iso terassi talon ympäri. Osa terassista lasitettu. Oma kaivovesi on juomakelpoista.
