We are on the South side of Kona, nestled on a 5 acre retreat. Most of the 5 acres have an Ohia forest with native birds singing. We are close to great beaches, snorkeling, (Best Snorkeling on the Island) kayaking, paddle boarding, hikes, coffee shops, restaurants, and much more. Screened/no windows so you can enjoy breeze and view. Cute living room and big shower/restroom down stairs. Patio with outdoor grill and sink. Beautiful sunset and infinity sea/sky line from the bedroom. Galaxy and shooting stars at the night. About 20mins from many beaches, and downtown.

The Cottages At Volcano - Hale Alala

Surrounded by the rainforest of Volcano and situated just outside of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our cozy cottage offers a welcoming place for some rest and relaxation between adventures. Hale 'Alalā is named after the highly endangered hawaiian crow whose reintroduction efforts have been focused on the forests around Volcano. While there are no longer any Alalā living in the wild, you can see a pair of live Alalā just down the road at the Panaewa Zoo (free admission).

This one-bedroom apartment with an ocean view is the perfect space for you to relax and unwind after a day of fun! It has it’s own private entry and includes a queen bed, a sofa bed, a fridge, a microwave, a cooktop, A shared washer/dryer and BBQ grill! Our home sits at a cool 1300' elevation with stunning sunsets. For our fellow adventurers, It’s only 10 minutes from Keauhou Bay, 15 minutes from Kona town to the North or 2 Step snorkeling to the South.

Canaloa

Kanaloa (God of the Sea creatures) over looks the Ocean, this room is 140 sq ft, with a queen bed, small table with chairs, no kitchen, large window to view Milky Way, sunrises, all while laying in bed. Kanaloa has its own private composting toilet 25’ from the room, bathroom sink, beach shower. A glamping room for short stays for those wanting a lower nightly price, clean, comfortable, getaway, close to Green Sand Beach and other popular place.

We have views of south point the most southern point of The United States. At night the you can experience millions of twinkling stars as we are in one of the special places on earth free of light pollution allowing views of the stars rarely seen with the naked eye
