You can fish from the beach of the cottage or take a rowing boat to the lake. For cyclists, there are kilometres of dirt roads to ride. The cottage is located along the Ruokolahti canoeing route (102km). A short distance from Puusauna to swimming. No running water, drinking water to be brought with you. Washing water is drawn from the lake. A rowing boat is available.

Tapiontupa

Apartment in a row house 3.5 km from the center of Mikkeli, in the Launiala district. Prisma, Citymarket, and other services are 2 km away. Here you can also enjoy beach life on the city's beach and swim in Lake Saimaa (800 m from the apartment). You can heat the sauna, bathe, and grill on your own sheltered terrace. The accommodation includes linens and towels. There is a space for your car in the carport. Note! During the summer of 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.
