Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Holland

Traveling in Europe for two months and this has been our favorite place. Coby was so friendly and helpful. We spent time with her and her husband Wilem and feel we’ve made Dutch friends.

We felt very comfortable with Ilse and Mark. From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect! Mark gave us a very warm welcome. We were even able to store our bikes in a shed and lock it. We highly recommend the accommodation and would book again immediately.

Upon entering, it feels like a home, it is a warm and very attractively decorated house. The kitchen is well equipped and provided with all kinds of necessities. My son loved the 'nest', it was a wonderful place for him to sleep. We have had beautiful days, the communication with Lieke is very nice and she has good tips for excursions in the area.

Hans was a great host, the check in process was smooth, and we loved seeing the artwork and ceramics in his gallery and throughout the apartment. The location was perfect for exploring Gouda and the surrounding areas. We had a great stay and would 100% recommend!!

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

Tulipa was such a gorgeous place to stay. It is beautifully finished and very comfortable. We stayed on a family holiday with three generations and ten total people - and everyone was perfectly accommodated for. The en-suites are high end, the beds are very comfortable and the open space upstairs is lovely. There’s lots of free on-street parking, and it’s a few minutes walk to a bus stop which takes you to a train station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

With the reason why we were there, it was a great location and nice location close by.

We loved our long weekend in Nieuwland. This is a tiny village so very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive from the motorway. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable for our group of 3 people. Everything worked great- lovely kitchen, powerful shower and a tv with a guest Netflix account. We were disappointed we didn't get a chance to sit outside in the courtyard due to the rain. We would happily return and would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet away from town. We liked Brigitte's accommodation very much - small but very nice :) We were greeted with a small personal message and a surprise on the occasion of our anniversary. The location is good if you have a car with you (for the larger cities around it), you can walk to the beach in about 20 minutes but through beautiful dunes and you are directly in it in a few steps;) We felt very comfortable as a couple and would gladly recommend the apartment. Brigitte responds very quickly and kindly and has many recommendations for the area. A big thank you to Brigitte :)

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

The stay with Marjolein and Michiel was extraordinarily beautiful and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambience with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site of the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, and Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the yard. Thank you very much again for the wonderful stay!! Dr. Gerlinde and Heinz Schulte-Brochterbeck

Lovely apartment, very spacious and clean, super nice and considerate host, great views of historic Leiden (including the windmill!), close by all the sights in historic Leiden, wonderful outside patio. Would definitely stay there again!

Had a great stay ! The place was clean, comfortable, and matched the description. The host was friendly and communication was smooth. Everything went as expected.

The place was really perfect. Very clean, very functional. The bedding is large and very nice. Big plus for the mosquito nets that allow you to ventilate the room at night without being afraid of mosquitoes, which are surely numerous given the water points. The surroundings are absolutely charming, and extremely relaxing when you return after a busy day. Very convenient central location for visiting the surrounding cities: take the car to a P+R then transport to the city centres. Note that the accommodation with direct access to the water is 2 and 3 and not 1. We would be happy to come back, probably to one of the houses 2 or 3, even if 1 was exactly what we wanted. Available and pleasant host.

Great Airbnb! We felt very comfortable and everything was very clean. The small town is super beautiful and very quickly accessible on foot. The beach and the dunes are also nearby. We were completely satisfied and can only highly recommend the Airbnb to everyone 😊

The apartment worked very well for three of us for a 9-night stay. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, champagne, and chocolate! The hosts were gracious, proactive, and helpful when we had questions or needs. The space is clean, well-lit, and modern, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Our daughter declared the sleep sofa the most comfortable she's ever slept on! The entry stairs are steep, but with the sturdy railing and good lighting we felt quite safe on them. The neighborhood has gems for dining and shopping, and you can walk to the City center. A laundromat that takes credit/debit cards is 4 blocks away. Tram stops are close, and they run on a frequent schedule. Parking is limited, so renting a bike is ideal. The bike lanes and traffic signals make it safe and easy to ride throughout the city. Venturing farther is possible by renting an electric car by the hour through the MyWheels app. Their cars are conveniently parked at charging stations around the neighborhood.

Margriet greeted us personally and showed us everything. The apartment was cozy and everything you needed was there. The bus stop and a supermarket are also nearby. The location was very quiet and we were able to park in front of the door. To the beach it's a 10-minute bike ride. We were able to use Margriet's bikes for free. Everything great!

This was a great place to stay in Den Haag - very central, on a lovely street and everything was easy to reach. It was perfect for our trip, with everything we needed and a nice atmosphere.

This apartment was wonderful! Plenty of space, super clean, and really welcoming – perfect for a weekend break. Sabine was a fantastic host – so friendly, always quick to help and hospitality made our trip even better. We had a great time at Carlien's lovely studio!The studio is very tasteful and lovingly furnished-we felt immediately comfortable! Great was also the beautiful terrace,which belongs to the studio and the 2 associated bicycles. We used it a lot! Carlien is a very kind,warm hostess who was always available - we will definitely come back to this cute studio- it was a great vacation!

Beautiful accommodation and a wonderful host, and the neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. I highly recommend it.
