Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Frontenac

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

Great place, for a city boy like myself. A good blend of the rustic surroundings and the homely feel of the place. The fresh eggs for breakfast was a great touch. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi with the beer that was provided and it was a great way to spend the evening in the charming, peaceful backyard. Thanks for hosting!

No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

The large comfortable house was great for our grandchild and his parents to spread out all the baby equipment. The kitchen functioned well and although the cottage is not renovated in the current styles, the bones of the house are so good that it felt really comfortable. The screened-in porch with glass roof was very appreciated when it rained. We thought the distance up and down to the dock might be a problem for our wide age range family but it wasn't. However, it could be for others. Anna and Mary were very kind and helpful. The quiet was treasured by all, broken only by the reliable 8:40 pm Whippoorwill. We would return.

My partner and I had a great stay 😊 Beautiful home for those who are interested in stargazing and reconnecting with nature. The place was very home-y and clean! There was a guidebook by the table as soon as you enter to read through (same information as on Airbnb). The patio is nice and the stargazing spot is perfect. Kitchen is very clean and accessible. Big plus with the bathroom mirror with the lighting and heat :) Windows by the living room didn’t have curtains but! It’s very private otherwise. Neighbours are fairly far away. So no one can really see through the side windows unless they’re directly there.

Great spot, our team stayed here and had plenty of good things to say about it. Well priced, good location, clean spot. Will definitely book again if we’re back in the area!

We had such a great time at Colin and Chao's place! It was lovely having a detached home and all of the amenities and goodies were very much appreciated! This place was FULLY stocked and they thought of everything that a forgetful traveler (like myself) would need! The story of the area and the house itself that was on the window was a very nice touch, tons of history! The place was very close to princess st. so easy to walk anywhere and was very close to the grocery store which made life easy. Colin and Chao were very responsive, , flexible with check-in and check-out and the place was amazing! We'll definitely be staying here again!

This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! Ainsley's place is newly renovated. Very nice, comfortable, well furnished and kitchen well supplied. Totally unexpected from the outside. It is in a very peaceful neighborhood and the whole house was very quiet. It's a wonder if anyone else was there. Highly recommend.

This quiet, clean and comfortable, self-contained apartment with fully equipped kitchen would be ideal for a longer stay and, with the walkable local restaurants, it was a good choice for my overnight visit.

loved our one night stay here. exactly like the pictures and Isabelle being the host, she was so kind and responsive. it was a beautiful spot and very private and quiet which was enjoyable. the room was very spacious and it was very easy to find once Isabelle gave us the instructions. it was a wonderful trip, and we hope to be back soon ☺️

This apartment is perfectly located (Queen's campus and very close to downtown). Well-organized, clean, and charming. Communication with my host was easy and seamless. Highly recommended!

The unit is centrally located in Alex Bay. Easily walk through out the town. It overlooks the river and has a great view of Boldt Castle. Comfortably accommodates four adults . It is very clean and modern. We recommend unit 301!

I enjoyed my stay in Gatineau. The host was super responsive and very friendly. The apartment was perfect for weekends.

Sara was a very nice host! Sara made check-in and check-out very easy. We had some trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, but Sara helped us through all of the trouble shooting and was very easy to communicate with. The place was cozy, clean and comfortable.
