Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Dundas

I just needed a few nights away with my dogs and this was perfect. The house is tucked back in the woods and very private. Perfect for a camp fire and hanging out. No activities for during the day and there is a large area that gets pretty muddy. It’s literally in the forest. Suited my stay perfectly and the dogs were free to roam. Owner is super quick to respond!

So glad we found this amazing place! It is nestled off the road in a quiet, beautiful location. The downstairs area is spacious, with a pool table and a dart board. The electric fireplace was such a nice addition for the colder than usual evening. Penny was such a great host! Fun filled fact- the space is filled with such pretty photos. I was so interested in them that I looked up the photographer and turns out it was Penny! I ended up purchasing a few pieces and I can’t wait to add them to my space at home! How was clean, neat, and comfortable. I imagine if the weather was better we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities. It was also very convenient to downtown.

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying with Scott and would definitely book again!

The place was beautiful, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and offered stunning views. Emily was a thoughtful host—she had arranged firewood for the fire pit and stocked the kitchen with a great selection of coffee and other essentials. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful and cozy getaway!

I really enjoyed my 2 day stay at Vermeer House! It was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed all the breakfast items, including fresh milk and bread that was provided. I would return here.

This home is really perfect: clean, functional and well equipped! You can access Ottawa quite quickly by car and there is a park behind the neighborhood for small walks.

Hands down, this our favourite places to stay while visiting friends and family. Everything we could possibly need and we felt right home. We look forward to being back soon!

Great little place for my husband and I to spend a long weekend (with our dog too)! The view was very pretty and the place was clean. There were a few bugs here and there, but that is to be expected in the Adirondack's. Like noted in the description, you can hear footsteps upstairs, but it didn't bother us or take away from our experience. It was about 20 minutes to Saranac Lake and 40 minutes to Lake Placid. We would love to come again in the summer for some paddleboarding! If you stay, definitely check out The Woodshed on Park restaurant, we had an amazing meal there. Thank you, Reinaldo!

I had a wonderful stay at Beth’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. This was such a lovely place to stay in. It was comfortable, clean, had great amenities, parking was convenient. Mohammad was also such a great host! We checked in late, and Mohammad still welcomed us, and gave us a tour. He was very responsive through the Airbnb app too. I strongly recommend staying in this place, and if I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again!

This place is truly exceptional! There are three different outdoor sitting areas, including one that's completely private. The hot tub and firepit are enclosed behind a privacy fence, and guests have full access to the BBQ in the guest area. The place is quaint and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows are unbelievably comfortable. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.

Aimee's cabin was so cozy, clean and accommodating. It was a peaceful, beautiful cabin and we loved fishing in the river and the private location. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Tom and Jeanne’s calm and friendly demeanor made us feel completely at home. Their property is a dream to explore—we would have moved right in if we could! The Airbnb is beautifully built; Tom is truly a master craftsman. The cabin is filled with stunning rustic décor, and you can’t help but dive into the documents they’ve left behind, which bring the place to life with its rich and beautiful history. We absolutely loved staying here. We were hiking throughout the weekend therefore it was very nice to come back to such a peaceful place, with a beautiful view inside and out.
