The Grandview Yurt at Hogback Homestead is nestled into the mountains of Vermont. It features beautiful views, and is a minimalist and peaceful alternative to the more populated resort towns. The kitchenette is basic but provides the necessities, and the restroom is an outdoor sawdust style composting toilet. Electricity is supplied via a small off grid solar array, suitable for light electrical use (charging computers and electronics, powering lights etc). Please provide your own bedding!

Rugged but cozy, our yurt warms up quickly thanks to its resident "Aspen" wood stove. Add a charming outhouse, farm pump, deck & picnic table to the picture, and you'll be camping in style.

Harmony Farm Sanctuary and Wellness Center is a vegan farmed animal sanctuary located in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are currently home to over 80 rescued residents. Our property is just under 50 acres of woods, fields, and meadow with over 2000' of frontage on the Tamarack Brook. Though rural, we are ideally situated just 10-12 minutes from surrounding towns with shops, restaurants, award-winning breweries, farmers' markets, and a plethora of other activities.

Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!
