Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Brisbane

A great stay in one of the best locations in Brisbane. The property is a very short walk to Brisbane’s best shops and restaurants. It was very clean and I loved that the pantry had the staples (oil, salt, pepper) to prepare a meal that is often not included in Airbnbs in 2025. Great value for money.

Great place to stay. Fantastic location, only a block from the main West End strip, but still quite quiet. Nice balcony out back and front and AC throughout the place. It's the upstairs floor of a queenslander, but we didn't have any issues with that and rarely ran into the other guests. The carpark is extremely narrow so we only used it once, but this wasn't an issue as we were able to find street parking easily (Roge organises a parking permit).

We are a family of 5 with young kids. Christine’s place is much more better than in her photos, plenty of equipments for us to cook and laundry. If you want to go to City, just drive your car to the park and ride ( 2 mins) or walk to the train station (5 mins) and transit to City, it takes around 10 mins. Indooroopilly Mall is close enough, few mins driving only. Christine provided plenty of breakfast ingredients for us during our stay. In conclusion, Christine’s place is highly recommended. Her place is my 1st priority for my stay in Brisbane in coming future.

Jason and Andrea were both lovely and helpful and helpful during our stay. This was the first stop on our trip round Australia and we felt welcome straight away. They were very easy to talk to and gave some great recommendations for us to check out during our trip. I would highly recommend anyone staying here.

Loved our stay in Milton! House was so beautiful and homely. Conveniently located, we were easily able to come back and forth during the day. Plenty of space for 2 people looking for a short getaway.

Great location, had a wonderful walk to southbank with the fam to see the river view and get dessert. Check in was seamless and Olivia was very accomodating. Clean, and place was home away from home for our 2 families.

What a great place to stay, close to the city and Southbank, had coffee down the road, the house was everything described and our family felt at home. This will be our go to stay for Torian going forward.

Thanks for a wonderful stay! Adrian's place is just far enough of the main streets to be quiet and peaceful, with a great balcony, clean, and modern. Well stocked kitchen if you like to cook, laundry, and fast Wi-Fi to make extended stays & a bit of work more comfortable. Close enough to restaurants, shopping, groceries, and attractions that you could easily stay without a car and not run out of things to do. Walkable around the West End and Southbank neighbourhoods and even into the CBD. Parking space was easy to access (steep entry could be an issue for those with low/sports cars) making this a good central stop to explore around Brisbane and as far as the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast for day trips. Great for small families or small group of friends. I'll be keeping an eye on this place if I'm back in Brisbane.

Nice flat, perfect location. Walkable to south bank and west end, and huge windows that can open too - which is not always the case in blocks of flats. Perfect for a weekend getaway :)

Enjoy my stay in this apartment. Really great location and amazing views! Everything I needed for a short stay. I did have trouble locating the lockbox as I think the instructions just had a pic of it and not a name. The sticker was lockbox 57 and not Olivia 57. But was fine once I figured it out. Everything else was great

Last minute booking to take my family on a quick holiday to Brisbane. Lee's place was the perfect spot. Beautiful views from the apartment and very quiet, nice place to relax. Lee was very responsive to my questions more so than other Airbnbs I've been too which was refreshing. Very close to all sorts of shops and restaurants, all walkable. Also came with a car spot which was handy. Good place to stay if you're looking to he in the heart of South Bank.

I loved staying at Tara’s apartment, was exactly as described and close to Coles, nice coffee shops and restaurants. Pool is also great! Super convenient for Woollangabba station. Lots of mentions of fire alarm, I cooked most nights and showered every day without any problems, you just need to be mindful of smoke and steam.

Has an absolutely wonderful stay at Natalie's place in the CBD! The space felt large (tall windows/ceilings), well appointed with quality items, easy to access despite being a bit odd inside a charming hotel, and centrally located to so many things. I attended a conference in the South Bank area and readily walked back and forth across the bridges and through the botanical garden (lots of walking!), and felt safe in the neighborhood even with all its busy-ness and even late at night. Being central downtown, there is some noise and light coming through the giant windows, but totally worth the stay! Natalie herself was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions that arose. Don't hesitate to book this tastefully decorated place!!

Friendly & responsive hosts with easy access to the listing. The welcoming cottage is exactly a described with all modern and updated features & amenities. The location is ideal for local restaurants with ample public transport and supermarkets within walking distance. Would recommend to friends & family

Really enjoyed my stay at Carmela's apartment. It was located perfectly across from West Ends restaurant & shopping centre district, and the apartment itself is beautiful. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook all meals, a very comfortable bed and large balcony that looks over the building access. I definitely recommend 🤗

This was an ideal location for our visit. The apartment is very nicely furnished and well kept up. It has all you need for a shoe]rt or longer stay. We met the owners on our way out and they are super-delightful. Our only comment is to be clear about the -off-street parking availability and spot to use as there are other tenants. Be sure to visit the nuts shop on the corner!

It is a perfect apartment near the Brisbane river. Everything is wonderful in this nice and clean apartment.

Selina’s place is a great central location! Walking distance to Albert Street shops and Queen Street mall, great restaurants, and a park across the road. Easy walk to the central bus station, easy to catch a bus to Suncorp Stadium etc. Selina’s place was well equipped with everything you could need for a stay! She greeted us on check in and showed us around which we really appreciated! The pool is a bonus, with great views to the Brisbane river! Would highly recommend :)

In this area at this price I would say look no further! A lot of Airbnbs in this 2km radius have lots of negative comments about train noises - Amy’s flat however is in the perfect location and it is so quiet - you honestly don’t hear anything. Everything we needed was available and Amy was very responsive. The baby high chair and cot worked so well for us, and our toddlers enjoyed the space; however we were a bit concerned about the very larger mirror potentially falling or breaking as it didn’t look like it was secured to the wall. Overall a great stay and would book here again.

Lovely place to stay in a fabulous complex. The apartment was a great open space with all the facilities and equipment you could ask for. Communication with the hosts was always rapid and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Glorious views at night from this very comfortable and quiet apartment. Plenty of quality restaurants nearby and walking distance to the art galleries etc. by the river. I recommend Julius for a pizza or italian specialities and Lune for a breakfast coffee and croissant.

The apartment is so close to the train station and walkable to indro shopping centre, we enjoyed shopping and bought groceries nearby. The amenities were suitable for what we needed, especially the warm preparation and compliment from the host! Besides, Lucia and Trong are friendly, helpful and very responsive, all of us had a great time during the stay. Highly recommended to family and friends!
