Holiday rentals with a fireplace in South Asia

The place is perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of life providing ample space to relax, chill and enjoy the nature from close. The location is a private house and blessed with scenic Valley view. The property owner Mr Janak is a great host. The cook Alka prepares very delicious meals including typical Gujarati dishes. The caretaker Ankush is a great person, and always available for support during our stay. The place also provides opportunity for a good morning walk and or run without any traffic hinderance. The property is old but bed linen and baths are well maintained with hot water and cleanliness in and around. Eventually it was a great family time for us accommodating 10 people in one place. We had great fun in playing childhood games and run around the property.

Eagle’s Wings Airbnb Stay – A Truly Memorable Experience We recently had the pleasure of staying at Eagle’s Wings Airbnb, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Alex and Rani, the hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, welcoming, and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, their warm hospitality stood out. They greeted us with genuine smiles and made sure we felt right at home. The property itself is stunning – a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The accommodations were spotless, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with every amenity I could need for a relaxing stay. The serene location of Eagle’s Wings is nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, it offers unparalleled views of expansive tea plantations. Waking up to the sight of mist-covered hills and the calming rustle of tea leaves was truly magical. The tranquil atmosphere made it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life!

We went with three friends, along with our families and kids. This homestay offers a spacious living area that includes a dining area, a playing area, and a sitting area, along with a table tennis table. Swaroop has kept many games for us to play, which our kids enjoyed immensely. Homemade meals are available, and they are very delicious. The best thing about this homestay is that Swaroop is extremely helpful; whatever we asked—be it food or local recommendations—he arranged it for us. It has been the best experience ever; I definitely recommend it.

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

We visited the Editor's villa from the 13th to the 15th of June . We were a family of 6 . I highly recommend this beautiful and homely place to everyone. The view from the villa of the mighty peaks - Nanda Devi and Trishul is nothing short of majestic. The ambience of the place is extrememy homely and warm. The icing on the cake are the caretaker Kailashji and the cook Girishji who really make your stay a memorable one with their care and the super delicious meals . Will definitely come back again next year !

Skyfall Elysium was exactly the kind of place that we were looking for ! Short escape from the city located in the lush green scenery and amidst tea plantation. The placed matched exactly as described by the host. The view from the glass walls are unmatched and top-notched. Caretaker Mohan was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. During monsoon there can be powercuts in the area, however the property is equipped with power backup. We faced slight issues due to the powercut but these are unforeseen situations and are not in anyone’s hand ! I can definitely count this property for my 2nd visit to Ooty if planned in future !

Fantastic Location with a Good Stay! Our stay at Villa Mercara in Coorg was a delightful experience, largely thanks to its absolutely superb location. Being so well-situated made exploring Coorg incredibly convenient and added so much to our trip. Mrs. Shubha was responsive, very friendly, also suggested the places to visit. The villa itself offered a good and comfortable stay. We had everything we needed for a relaxing time. Overall, we highly recommend Villa Mercara, especially for its unbeatable location.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained and fully furnished apartment in Shimla. The place was exactly as shown in the photos — clean, cozy, and with stunning views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a collection of novels and games that kept the kids happily engaged. The host was always responsive and helpful, and the on-site caretaker and cook made our stay even more comfortable. One small feedback we shared about RO servicing was graciously acknowledged by the host, which reflects their genuine care for guest experience. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and well-managed stay in Shimla! We would love to visit this place again in future!!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Visava Home Stay in Ujjain. The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for those looking to relax or explore the spiritual side of the city. The hosts were incredibly warm, attentive, and respectful of privacy, always available when needed. The room was exactly as described (if not better!), with comfortable bedding, reliable Wi-Fi, and all the essential amenities. The location is also a big plus — just a short drive from Mahakaleshwar Temple and other key sites, yet tucked away enough to feel calm and quiet. One of the highlights was the homely feel of the place. You’re not just renting a room, you’re experiencing genuine Indian hospitality. I’d highly recommend this stay to solo travelers, families, or couples looking for a clean, cozy, and welcoming place in Ujjain.

On the outskirts of Galle, but a quick Tuktuk to town and Unawatuna Beach town (highly recommend). ***My only warning, would be that of the random trash/debree burnings. If you have asthma or allergies, then this may cause you issues, as it did for me.***

I’m from Kuwait I visited pakistan with my family for the first time. Unfortunately we stayed one night in this apartment, all our days me & my family spent it in Skardu.. we checked out today early I Thanked the cohost Asaad so much for the beautiful place also I thanked Abdul qadeer for his welcome , he was more helpful with us when we arrived . Me and my family liked the apartment so much , It was very neat and clean, calm place Inshallah if we come next time to Islamabad , we will reserved in same apartment .

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, classy, and had beautiful views that made every morning feel special. Everything in the apartment worked perfectly, including the washing machine, which was super convenient. Being directly above Centaurus Mall was a huge bonus – easy access to great shopping and amenities right at my doorstep. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury!

Stumbled upon Vasti on a spontaneous stop in Manali en route to Leh—and what a magical find! This little wonderland in the mountains stole my heart. Every window opens to breathtaking views, and every corner inside reflects love, warmth, and thoughtful detail. Zoey, the resident furball, greeted me with so much joy—she will melt your heart. The people here are the real stars: Shankar bhaiya’s soulful home-cooked meals, plated with care by superman Sachin (who’s truly a one-man army), and Vandana’s magic touch keeps the space sparkling. And Mayuri, the incredible host—thank you for saying yes on such short notice, and for all your kind energy and amazing recommendations. You’ve created a slice of heaven here. I left with a full heart and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for peace, beauty, and warmth—this is it. Come solo, or with family—it’s perfect either way.

Tucked away in nature, this serene villa offered a peaceful escape with panoramic views, perfect for unwinding and recharging. Wake up to birdsong, sip coffee and enjoy the gentle stillness all around. It's a space made for true relaxation. Ideal for couples or family and friends, seeking quiet, beauty, and uninterrupted peace. It's slightly off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle — but that’s part of the charm. The kind of place you'll want to return to again.

The place was exactly like the photos. The place was very much like a pahadi home from the inside, which we liked. The caretakers were the best and helped us out with walks and cooked food for us as well.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at, & I’m an avid traveller. Perfect for an extended family stay (we were 9 people). The house with its large glass windows, 5 identical well-furnished rooms, outdoor swimming pool, watchtower, and especially the projector screen in the hall, were exactly what we wanted to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. Special shoutout to Rakesh Bhaiya and the 3 other Bhaiyas who were always just a call away, cooked delicious food, and provided better hospitality than any 5 star property can. Will recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay among nature a group of 10 or so people.

Right from the get go, Shardul has been so proactive and helpful, it made our stay so much easier! One things that definitely stood out for us was the beautiful property. In Alibaug, you usually don't find such lavish luxury properties, worth the price! Great caretaker, and fantastic home cooked meals...we had an amazing time... Kihim beach was hardly 15mins from the place. You can easily walk, stroll across the lanes, check out the lcoal stores selling home made papads, sukkat etc. , have tea at local eateries, and have a great time with friends/family.

From the moment we alighted from the cab that took us through the steep and winding streets, we knew we were in for a treat. The historic bungalow is stunning and comfortable. Everything has been thought through for comfort, elegance and a timeless charm. The most important aspect for our family was the kindness of the staff that run the place. Meena, Ranveer, Ganga and Mamta were so efficient, kind and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. We even had pizza based in the pizza oven in the garden. We did a lot of walking, soaking in the atmosphere and fragrance of the deodars. The sunrises from the front garden were just stunning. We are sad to leave this wonderful slice of heaven. Hope to be back.

This was the most beautiful AirBnB property ever. It absolutely exceeded all expectations. The hosts welcomed us with such grace and hospitality, it felt right at home. The charm of the property is its peacefulness and serenity. Would visit again 100%. Loved it
