Chalet holiday rentals in South Asia

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur, ca 25 Minuten Fußweg von Ellas Hauptstraße entfernt, mit dem Tuktuk ist man aber in 5 Minuten Mitten im Geschehen (500 LKR). Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben auch die Cooking Class in der Unterkunft gemacht, als auch eine Tour zu Ellas Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten - kann ich beides empfehlen und vor Ort kriegt man auch Empfehlungen und Tipps. Man ist in den Chalets sehr privat und hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht, sodass man dem Trubel der Stadt entkommen kann. An die Geräusche der Natur muss man sich erstmal kurz gewöhnen - aber das ist nun wirklich ein Luxusproblem :-) Das Frühstück war ausreichend und ist mit viel Liebe gemacht. Man kann im Supermarkt auch noch Sachen dazu kaufen, wenn einem etwas fehlt :-) Können wir empfehlen!

A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . We will surely visit again. Thank you Mr. Sanjeev

Starting with the host first, Peter is super helpful and friendly, he provided clear instructions from the very first day I booked the place, and kept on checking continuously if we needed anything till the time of checkout. Sumith and Raja were helpful as well. Coming to the property, please note this property is in the middle of the jungle, so you get to enjoy wildlife and nature at its best, but please note not everyone has that preference So choice is yours, the place and property clearly matches the description and is perfect for someone who is looking to spend some time in nature in it’s pure and raw form

Wer die Natur geniessen wlll ist in diesem Baumhaus genau richtig. Freundliche Bedienung. Hier kann man richtig entspannen. Morgens aufstehen Gutes Frühstück geniessen. Die Eichhörnchen schwingen über den Bäumen und immer ein Vogel am Morgen der mir beim Frühstück zuschaut. Für alle die es mal ruhig haben wollen und dem Gesang der Vögel zuhören möchte empfehle ich dieses Baumhaus.

It was really nice staying at "Shant Kuti". Beautifully maintained by caretakers - Pritpal and Tilak. The food was really tasty, all amenities were provided. It was like home away from home. They have a fixed menu per person, if you opt for their food service, inform them in advance and it is very reasonable amount. It was tough to use the switches in every room due to 3 pin required for them, an extension in every room would be really helpful. Currently extension was provided only in one of the room which is on the first floor. Regarding the way to the property: the caretaker will come to guide you to the property. The inner way to the property is narrow, just enough for one car. Drive slow in that area as there is no boundary on one side. The parking place is for 2 cars easily. Must recommend for everyone and have dinner/lunch/breakfast at the property which is tasty and cost effective.

Charu is a great host, she has carefully designed her place to be perfect for both solo traveller or groups/families. Caretaker is extremely helpful, surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Her place is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed. Definitely coming back and recommend it. Thanks for hosting me!

a wonderful place to spend time with family. best part is that it's adventurous to get inside the property. Rashmi was super responsive and welcoming the care taker, Pratap helped us with food and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Bhaveek been a great host and was very caring. During our stay, Manali was badly hit by flood and heavy rains but still staff managed to take good care of us within limited available resources. The property location is excellent and I will rank it as a 5 star property. We booked compete villa of 8 bed rooms and we had a great time. This property is in nature and around greenery but still close to Mall road and old Manaali ( just 20 minutes walk). Looking forward to have another stay during winter or next summer . We stayed at Casinha Ribandar during first week of May. We were a family group of 13 people including my parents and we had an amazing stay at Capt Leo's property located in very peaceful surroundings. It was exactly matching with the photos and description given, very spacious with a nice living and dining area for a family gathering. The wooden flooring added to the ambience. The place was very clean with enough extra mattress, towels and linen provided. The place was cleaned daily by house keeping. We also took the service from Babiene for our food and she catered well to our vegetarian needs. The only drawback is you would not find shops or restaurants very close by. But swiggy and zomato is easily available. In about 1 KM distance, there are small tea shop places from where we even got our breakfast delivery arranged. Also, there is space to park only one car. Overall a great stay enjoyed by our full group. I would highly recommend this place for group travels

Nice place, cute duplex. Surroundings are beautiful and the place is far away from the city. Great to have a relaxing time close to the nature.

Heina is a place for rustic experience combined with necessary urban convenience. check-in was a breeze. Anura was a great host with tips for local stuff. Friendly staff who prepared great breakfast. Getting there can be tricky if you have a huge car - which we did and topped it with checking in at middle of the night. But it was taken care of too... will recommend the place!
