Beautiful house tucked away in quiet suburb, with easy access via tram or uber to the city centre. Great sized space to comfortably accommodate 8. Pool and open plan kitchen were a real luxury. Would highly recommend! Thanks Lucas

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday at Flavien’s place. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we needed - all as described. Flavien’s family were very welcoming and so helpful during our stay. We definitely hope to come back!

The accommodation itself is nice, quiet, well-equipped for a pleasant time. In addition, located 300 metres from the ocean and restaurants in a forest setting. Great! I recommend it. Very nice stay at this family home. Access to the beach is ideal with children, no need to take the car. Everything is designed to host a family. Pleasant sea view in the living rooms. Very easy communication, was able to meet our needs. We'll be happy to go back!

Short stay in a perfect family unanimously. A quiet house, very functional, surrounded by greenery. Michael is very attentive if you need him. We'll be happy to go back. 🤗

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

We spent a week with Thierry in May. Thierry responded very kindly and uncomplicatedly to the fact that our arrival was delayed more and more. He welcomed us very nicely and gave us many tips. You can tell from the house that Thierry is a flea market fan. We thought that gives the house character, it's really unique. It is quiet, with a lot of nature around, the frogs croak their concert, and at night the nightingales sing. The large, slightly overgrown garden (we like it) was fenced in so that our dog could go in and out of the house as he pleased. The area is pleasantly not overcrowded with tourists, but there were still opportunities to do something. A little tip: don't stay in the caravan if you are taller than about 180 cm (we are a little shorter, so it worked out well). Many thanks to Thierry, we hope to come back!

Beautiful rental, very clean, perfectly equipped, ideal for a couple. The welcome by Jean-Louis and his wife is very friendly, with small touches. Shops and services are nearby. We recommend it.

Nicolas's place is a peaceful oasis. It feels well decorated with taste and above all nothing is not lacking anything, everything is well thought out and thoughtful. The accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the city centre and 2 minutes from the beach. Nicolas is a friendly and accommodating host. If we return to Soulac, we will stay at Nicolas' accommodation without hesitation.

We were greeted with a smile, we unfortunately missed the text from Cécile who prepared the accommodation well before the scheduled time so that we could enjoy it. Value for money more than reasonable. We will be back!

A real seaside house. Exceptional place. A gem like few others. A nice place with a great decor and enough to do as at home (books, indoor and outdoor games). The garden is really nice and spacious for lounging and BBQ evenings. Communication with the hosts was smooth, available, flexible with our wishes and good advice. Thanks to both of them.
