Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Despina! Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen, und gleichzeitig ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Süden Kretas zu erkunden. Die Villa selbst ist sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – von der Küche bis zum schönen Außenbereich mit Pool war alles top gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten bei unserer Ankunft. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Ein echtes Highlight: der traumhafte Blick auf die umliegende Natur und die Sonnenuntergänge am Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Villa Despina jedem empfehlen, der Ruhe, Komfort und kretische Herzlichkeit sucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

Beautiful, clean, and very responsive. The stay was as advertised. This home is well maintained, comfortable , and close to everything.

The house was lovely and very convenient to get to from the airport. The surroundings were idyllic and we had a very peaceful stay here. Kostula was a brilliant host, always very responsive when we had any questions. We were supplied with basic amenities for cooking which is always a bonus as we didn't need to go straight to the shops for oil, salt, coffee, etc. There was also a homemade cake waiting for us on arrival and we were given some fresh eggs from their hens when we met Kostula and her husband! All in all it was a brilliant stay with wonderful hosts and we would love to visit again!

Superbe maison, très bien située , endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maman de Gregoris nous a très amicalement accueillis et nous a fourni d excellents conseils. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei. Wir haben uns sehr über den vegetarischen Pie und alles andere, was er zur Verfügung gestellt hat, gefreut. Es gab frisches Obst, Tomaten etc. sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann vom Standort aus zahlreiche Ausflüge machen. Der Garten ist weitläufig. Es war alles tiptop. Vielen Dank an Ioannis, seiner Frau und vor allem seiner Mama für den sehr leckeren Pie!

Maria was very friendly and responsive, helped with any request/question I had, check-in in easy and flexible, place is small but cute and has everything you need, walking distance from old town, the house has various coffee machines which I really appreciated and Maria was kind to provide a few breakfast essentials, the courtyard is also a super treat!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

We had a wonderful, peaceful & relaxing week in this beautiful house. Amazing location, stylish, spacious, comfortable & very well-equipped. It’s 3 minutes from the small town of Sellia (3 or 4 nice traditional restaurants & small but useful supermarket), 10 minutes from the bigger (seaside town) of Plakias (many restaurants, 2 big supermarkets, butcher & baker), yet out on its own: utterly quiet & private and with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the sea. Cordula - who created this fabulous place, from ground up & with incredible attention to detail, is a perfect host. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful: at all stages proactive, quick & very clear communication and always concerned about our convenience & comfort. Our flight time meant we didn’t arrive until 8pm & Cordula offered to order & collect food from one of the excellent local restaurants & keep it warm in the oven, so after a long & tiring journey our holiday started straightaway. We would love to return.

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

Je recherchai un hébergement de qualité supérieure sur Chania avec toutes les commodités et je suis tombée sur cette location qui répondait à mes attentes avec cerise sur le gâteau cette jolie petite piscine privée chauffée. La maison est magnifique, spacieuse, la déco est juste ce qu'il faut et tout y est en terme d'équipements. On se sent comme a la maison. Ce fût un vrai coup de coeur aussi pour la piscine et pour la plage à proximité (Koum Kapi), pas de parasols à perte de vue, une jolie plage aux eaux cristallines, des bars et restaurants pas loin et des locaux mélangé aux touristes sur la plage. J'ai adoré cet endroit. Je voulais un lieux à proximité de la vieille ville et calme c'était vraiment parfait. Je recommande à 100%. We hebben 14 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in het verblijf van Marilena. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Marilena is niet alleen ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk, maar ook bijzonder lief en leuk tegen kinderen. De accommodatie was brandschoon en goed verzorgd. Het privézwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt: elke ochtend werd het zorgvuldig schoongemaakt door Marilena zelf. Wat we ook erg waardeerden, was dat ze tussentijds – uiteraard in overleg – het huis kwam schoonmaken. Echt topservice! Je merkt aan alles dat Marilena dit met liefde doet en oog heeft voor haar gasten. Kortom: een fantastische plek om te verblijven met een gastvrouw die echt het verschil maakt. We komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug!

What an amazing little find this place was. So beautiful and peaceful. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Beautiful gardens, seating areas and a pool! Perfect! We could live here and we were very sad to leave. Property is as described and in our opinion better than the photos. If you want to be out of the town then this is the place to be. 10 min drive to Chania, local market 2 min drive away. The walk up is steep but only 2 mins but worth it. You feel tucked away with the locals here. Goats in the hills, cockerels in the distance, many cats (please help feed them on your stay) and swallows dive bombing the pool in the afternoon. It’s a place for peace and nature. Thank you so much for such a wonderful few days here. We would definitely stay here again but for longer.

We really enjoyed staying at the apartment of Spiros, it was very clean and very comfortable. Spiros was super reactive and answered immediately. All and all very positive and we would love to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay in Spiros’ place. Upon our arrival we received some welcome fruits and there was a choice of coffee to enjoy. Plenty of towels and bed linen, the bed was very comfortable including the pillows, the flat was very clean, the kitchen was great it had everything for cooking and when we needed something Spiros responded quickly and helped with a couple of things. We would not hesitate to return and stay longer (three of us stayed 6 nights). A great host with and a great place! Thank you!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 9 giorni in un bellissimo appartamento, pulitissimo ed attrezzatissimo. L’appartamento si trova a circa 10/15 minuti dal centro di Chania, davanti ad un supermercato e a nostro parere, si trova alla giusta distanza da tutte le spiagge più belle (1.45h max). L’ordine, la pulizia e l’attrezzatura dell’appartamento ci ha consentito di viverci il soggiorno al massimo! Vorrei riservare un grazie speciale alla carinissima Chrysoula. È stata gentilissima, socievole e disponibile a rispondere ad ogni nostra domanda. È stata la prima persona del posto che abbiamo conosciuto e ci ha veramente scaldato il cuore conoscerla…grazie! Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie mille!

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

You’ll have a nice stay here. Lilit’s mum checked us in and the place was spotless. Downstairs has a kitchen/living area, a bathroom with a bath/shower, and three bedrooms. Each bedroom has air-con and two bedrooms have balconies. The kitchen/living area has air-con and the bathroom has a clothes washing machine. Upstairs has a kitchen/living area and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen/living area has air-con. The upstairs tv is a dumb tv and the downstairs tv is a smart tv. Toilet roll can’t be flushed in either bathroom, as is standard in Crete. Both kitchens have a sink, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, pots, pans, crockery. The host left us water, fruit and wine. The parking area has gates, which are controlled by a fob. You have to drive up a hill to get to the property. Bins are at the bottom of the hill. Taverna Irene is walking distance and has nice food and wine and cats! I’d recommend hiring an automatic car because Crete is hilly.

Great location, very close to a beach. Off street parking right in front which was huge since we rented a vehicle. Beautiful flowers in garden. Litsa welcomed us with wine and fruit. She was very friendly and responded very quickly. She gave us lots of tips of where to go. Place is as described.

I had a wonderful stay at Grigori's house. I am a solo female traveller but right away I felt cared for and safe. Grigori's mother met me to walk me to the location which, as I arrived in the evening was so helpful. Throughout the stay Grigori gave me all kinds of local recommendations. He arrived with home cooked food from his grandmother. I never felt alone. Whenever I asked Grigori for local information he was on hand to help, including doing a tour to Preveli beach and the gorge close by. It was such a friendly stay and I felt safe in the city and part of a warm family team. I highly recommend this place if you are a solo traveller and want to feel the warmth and friendliness of this air b n b and the hosts who go the extra mile for you. It is also very close to a shop for fruit and veg and amenities and lovely beaches in walkable distance.
