This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Make Ingi's Guesthouse your base in the Faroe Islands! With an automatic Toyota Auris Hybrid - included in the price - and free access to two of the main underwater tunnels between Vagar-Streymoy and Eysturoy-Bordoy (use as many times as you like), will be easy to explore the islands. If you stay 4 nights or more , airport pick-up and drop-off also included. All the cars are insured and registered as rental cars, parking place is just in front of the property. Ruby Stova

The house is completely renovated. we have our goose walking right outside the house. The airport is within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the airport. 5 minutes walking distance to our local grocery store. About 15 min walking distance to the ferry Jósup to Mykines. There are 2 bedrooms with each dobbel bed. There are good view from the house Its very beautyfull to see the airplane so close. Its easy to come to the house, it’s only one step up to the front door.

Turf cottage by breathtaking Múlafossur waterfall

Lundi Cottage is one of the Múlafossur Cottages located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Blue boathouse in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands

Experience this newly built boathouse located right by the seafront and only 100 m from a grocery store, local bakery/cafe, public svimming/spa hall and public busses. The boathouse is 50 m2 + a loft equipped with all modern conveniences. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom and the main area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a sofa area with a TV that has access to several channels and wifi.

Authentic Faroese cottage from 1893 with turf roof, warm wooden interiors and fjord surroundings. Located in Norðskáli, it is a central base for exploring the Faroe Islands by car. The cottage has loft sleeping spaces, a sofa bed, a simple utility kitchen and a working wood-burning stove. A cozy, rustic family cottage for guests who value character, nature and a real Faroese cabin experience.

Lejligheden er renoveret og bliver opvarmet med Grøn Energi (luft til vand) og har en meget god udsigt, med mulighed at bruge en stor terasse, der man har udsigt til fire øer, lejligheden ligger centralt imellem lufthavnen ogThorshavn, har god gåafstand til Trælanýpa og Trøllkonufingur. Gásadalur/Múlafossur ligger på øen og ruteforbindelse til Mýkines. Der er gode muligheder for parkering.

This is a unique igloo-inspired accommodation. The house is built to the highest environmental sustainability standards with ground-thermal heating, isolation, sustainable materials, and more. It is located in the charming village of Leynar, a central base to explore much of the Faroe Islands. The accommodation only 25 KM (16 Miles) from both the airport and the capital.
