A solid log cabin high on a hill, in the middle of a beautiful rural and mountain landscape. Looking into the distance relaxes the mind, and here you can enjoy this as the horizon opens up to 300°, with the farthest views reaching over 20 km away. The cottage has a living room/kitchen, a storage fireplace with a baking oven, a loft, 2 porches and 2 balconies, a 3-person sauna with a wood-burning and electric stove, a shower, a toilet, a smart TV and an air-source heat pump. In addition to the cottage, there is an old, empty cabin and a stone shed in the large lawned yard.

100-year-old log cabin

A 100-year-old rebuilt log sauna cabin in the tranquility of the countryside. A good night's sleep is guaranteed by a futon mattress and the opportunity to enjoy the sauna in the warmth of the wood stove while admiring the lake from the landscape window, in the summer you swim in the clean-watered lake, in the winter you jump into a refreshing ice hole. You wash with water heated with a traditional bucket. The needs are done in the outdoor toilet. There is no rush here, but the rest of the world is forgotten. Still, only a half-hour drive from the city's services.

Welcome to relax in the embrace of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful lake full of fish (Kallavesi), in the midst of nature, in the courtyard of our home, only a 25-minute drive from the towns of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cabin comfortably accommodates two people. In the summer, the sleeping enclosure has sleeping places for two. Guests have access to a barbecue, a paddle board and a rowboat. There is an additional charge for using the hot tub. Please book the hot tub in advance.

Ideal for summer and winter accommodation. There is a rowboat on the beach. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, sleeping loft, electric sauna, shower, dressing room, toilet, air heat pump and a large fireplace.
