Incredible property with jaw-dropping views. I loved watching the tides come in everyday and there's a lot of cool birds and wildlife. The area for feedback I have is that the mattresses are all really firm which made sleeping a little rough. I still rate the property 5 stars and think it's the perfect getaway accommodation for visitors of Acadia. Also the hot tub is nice after sore hiking muscles!

As soon as we pulled up to the house, we could immediately see why Sue’s place is so well-reviewed. The surroundings are both peaceful and stunning - we saw a deer in the back yard when we arrived, saw an otter playing in the water on our last night, and spotted many other birds out the back in between! I have never stayed at a more well-stocked Airbnb. We love to cook when we travel, and every time I looked for a gadget or kitchen item, I easily found it. Any time I couldn’t find something, I knew that it had to be there and that I was just looking in the wrong spot, and that was always the case. Although it is a bit of a haul from some of the popular spots on Mt. Desert Island, the setting and privacy was well worth the drive. There is also plenty to do nearby, including Tidal Falls Preserve just down the road! We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay and hope we have the chance to stay here again in the future.

We felt so at home at Travis’ place. We had a late check in, and I will say he was right when he said it’s tricky to find in the dark! Once we got there and looked around it got easier. Everything was so clean and cozy. We loved having the two bedrooms right next to each other. It made it easy for our young daughter to get us if she needed us at night. The view alone made us feel so at peace that not much could top it. We also appreciated the access to tvs, but not making them stick out in the home. Everywhere we went was between a 30-45 minute drive which we did not mind at all. We actually quite enjoyed it so we weren’t right by all the craziness of some of the tourist towns. I can’t say anything but amazing things about this house. If you’re looking to book and this house ends up on your list.. just book it!! You won’t regret it.

Lauren was a wonderful host! We had an amazing stay at her cottage. It was less than a 10 min drive from her place to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Lauren was attentive and fair when handling any issues we ran into during the stay. We will definitely be back!

This is our third time staying at the Arthaus. Scott’s place is beautifully designed, modern, immaculately clean, and so comfortable!! We spend our days in Acadia park and love to go home to this private cottage gem. Scott is a fantastic host!!!

This is an amazing find! We have been to 37 states and have stayed in countless air bnbs, and this is quite possibly our favorite. The location is gorgeous! The house is packed with amenities, which we super appreciated as a family of 5. The view every morning and evening was stunning. We were able to kayak from the house, have campfires, see the stars at night, enjoy the view and TV while hot tubbing, sip tea from the balcony, hike the nearby preserve, watch the wildlife and experience the amazing tides. We would 100% stay here again and hope to after we catch the other 13 states. If you're on the fence, just book it!!

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

A perfect spot just outside of Acadia. Nestled on a private road that is beautiful also! Immaculately clean and very responsive host. My only issues was the beds- for me they were not comfortable but I prefer a firm bed. I definitely would come back here when visiting Acadia again.

We had a great stay! The unit was very clean and well-stocked. The location is quiet and peaceful, and it's a very short drive to both Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park. Allison is a very responsive communicator and she was very helpful with local tips. We plan to return in the future!

Kevin and Donna’s place was very clean and comfortable. It is just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Watching the geese and ducks in the beautiful backyard each morning was a bonus. Kevin and Donna are responsive and friendly.

This place was great and very clean. This is an Airbnb that beats a hotel every time. Close to Acadia, and has river access. Very nice place, and I definitely recommend staying here. Everything was high quality from the furniture to the silverware. Thanks again!

The apartment was immaculate, and perfect for two people. It was well stocked with dishes, paper products, and towels. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Nancy and her husband were very friendly and gave excellent suggestions for local restaurants. It would have been nice to have access to a gas grill. We really enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to return in the future.

Incredible, we really enjoyed staying at the sunrise deck, so incredibly home feeling and sweet for me and my wife’s honeymoon. We loved the extra care Lise took to bring gluten free snacks for my wife it was so sweet and thoughtful. We strongly recommend coming to stay here for Acadia or even the surrounding towns as well! I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was amazing. Right off Main Street and totally walkable to anything in bar harbor with a parking space! It was on the right side of bar harbor to get to Acadia within 5 minutes. We loved all of the restaurants close by and the access to the park. The place was so comfortable and cozy! Beautifully decorated and warm after cold hikes in the park. We did not hear any noise at all from the hospital which is tiny compared to the hospitals in Virginia. I didn’t even notice it was there. Brianne was so kind and responsive and recommended lots of good hiking and dining options. I can’t wait to come back here again! If I could give this home 6 stars I would and I am usually a picky reviewer! We will definitely be back to the same house if we come back to Bar Harbor, which I hope we do! It’s a great base for exploring Acadia! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was very comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Love this Condo. Superb location in Blue Hill Village, easily walkable to everything downtown. Modern and updated making it very comfortable. Well equipped with cleaning/cooking supplies so you can "live normally". The hosts are super responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I were very excited about visiting Acadia National Park. This location is close to the park (about 10-15 min driving). We stay in the large room for six people. The place is good for a group who can sleep closely (our kids slept next to each other in the two beds and the couch), also keep in mind there is only one restroom. Having a kitchen to cook our meals is always a plus. The common areas are very good. We used the hot tub, the fireplace and the grill. Everything was great! Arthur is an excellent remote host, quickly answering all our questions. I recommend this place for families willing to visit Acadia.

We rented both the Toddy House and Rocky House for a week for our family of 12. The houses were as described and in pristine condition. We loved the fact that they were close together, so the late night group could stay up socializing, while the children could be put to bed without distraction. The Toddy House had a pool table which provided lots of late night entertainment. It also had a large open common area to accommodate our group, and we spent a lot of time on the screened porches. We really liked the access to the water with the dock, the canoes and kayaks, and the super cool fire ring. We are the type of family that asks a lot of questions, and Mark was quick to answer and take care of any questions or issues we had. We spent a great deal of time at Acadia, and while the drive was about 45 minutes to get there, it was not a problem at all. We would definitely return to 3Havens if we decided to take another vacation in this area. Mark and Laurie were excellent hosts.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

Brian's place was great!! It is a great location - you can walk to all the main shops and restaurants right in Bar Harbor, and it is also just blocks from the Bar Island bridge that you can walk at low tide. It's also an easy/quick drive to Acadia. The place itself was just as pictured and very clean and cozy. Before I booked, I read in some others' reviews that the parking was tight, which made me a little nervous, but when I got there, I thought the parking was just fine! I have a regular SUV and had no issues. Brian was also very communicative - I didn't have any issues or need anything while I was there, but he was nice in checking in with me anyway. Highly recommend!
