Chalet holiday rentals in Sonnberg im Mühlkreis

We had a great time here with our family. Especially for our young children it was great. The spacious garden with the playground, the fire pit, the trampoline,.. - just mega! :) And in the large cozy house in the rural surroundings, we also felt right at home.

We were there with our dog in November and totally enjoyed it. We'd love to come back.

We stayed here as a band for a weekend and had a nice time. The place is clean, quiet and well equipped – the indoor climate was great, we all slept excellently. The rippling of the small waterfall in front of the door was particularly beautiful. It is good to know that only the front door can be ventilated. The hosts were very friendly and have a cute dog named Bella. Communication via Airbnb was warm and pleasant. There was slight confusion with check-in, as it was unclear how to get in, it seemed a bit spontaneous. Also at very short notice was the request to leave earlier at very short notice, which was unfortunately not possible. There's an ant issue on the Airbnb that's known to the hosts. We are particularly grateful for the spontaneous help with a car problem (light left on) – without this help we would not have left! For groups who know each other well is a lovely place to get down.

We stayed for 3 nights to 6 in the beautiful and cozy house with the wonderful view to the lake and behind mountains. We immediately felt comfortable in the lovingly and practically furnished house. The nature all around is already something special. It was a really relaxed and also active holiday with extensive hike around Lake Wallersee. The sauna was also an extra plus. We'd love to stay there again.

We felt very comfortable right from the start. The facility is so lovingly designed and thought out - hot tub, sauna, barbecue hut - there is nothing left to be desired. Our little son (20 months) was also thought of (e.g. changing mat, wet wipes, shampoo, etc.) really very very attentive and hospitable owners. We would definitely come back!

We had a super nice turn of the year in the house. As a group of 5 adults and a toddler, everything was really perfect. The few meters to the lake are worthwhile several times a day, even in winter. The lake was completely frozen and a highlight for everyone in the sun. Many restaurants are closed in the area in the winter time, as there is no high season to plan with. A trip to Cesky Krumlov is worthwhile in any season, wonderful little town where there is a lot to discover. The house has everything you need, discover the surroundings during the day in the sun and relax in front of the wood stove in the evening. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful time at Judith and Mario's place. The historic chalet is very well maintained, super equipped and in a heavenly location. We were spoiled every morning with a wonderful breakfast that nothing was missing. All organic, and especially the beautiful colorful eggs from the farm's own chickens were great. Everything was lovingly packed and prepared and you can tell that the two do everything with a lot of passion. A special highlight for us was also that we were able to get to know the goats that are lovingly kept in the farm. We would have preferred to spend the whole day in the stable if the sauna had not been called. All in all we had fantastic holidays, and will definitely come back to the little paradise. ❤️

It was fantastic!!! The chalet is so cozy and lovingly furnished. The amenities are superb, there was nothing missing. We (6 adults, 1 toddler and dog) immediately felt comfortable and had a great time. The highlight for our son was the existing play area and the fireplace. The location is great for trips into nature or to the lake. Within walking distance there is also a restaurant we visited. Klemens was incredibly friendly to us from the beginning, if there was a lack of something, he would have been on hand immediately. His recommendations for the walks were top! Have seen beautiful places that will definitely remember us. Another visit at warm temperatures is not excluded ;)

As amazing as the pictures are, this house and its surroundings were even more stunning than the photos! The house is a restored farmhouse on a hilltop at the end of a forest road. It’s completely private and absolutely quiet. There’s a pond for swimming and a hot tub on the deck. The whole place is surrounded by lawn. The trees, flowers, and birds are incredible. Inside, the house is beautiful and very comfortable. The host, Martina, was very helpful and responsive. There is a delightful town on the Ybbs River about 10 minutes away by car—the best ice cream shop anywhere, an ancient fortress, great cafes, wonderful walking paths. This Airbnb was superb.

Great cabin, everything you needed was there and the hosts were very helpful and nice. In case of bad weather the perfect "shelter" ;) we will be happy to come back at any time!
