TAKIO 3 guesthouse

HaoxuanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very classic Japanese homestay, beautifully decorated.Although it is a bit far from the city center, it is in a residential area. When you walk from the homestay to the station, you can see other Japanese-style houses, which is very atmospheric. The price is actually about the same as the hotel in the city center, the main thing is the experience. The host Makoto is very nice, pick up and drop off for check-in and check-out, and will also introduce the facilities around the homestay when checking in.We tried the Osaka burn he recommended, and it was quite delicious. There are also different activities every month, and if you catch up, you can join guests from different countries.

The food, transportation, etc. were very kind, and we had a very pleasant time. The souvenir I received was a choice from a local, and it was nice to continue to be the host.I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Traditional tatami Japanese style

YuechenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The owner and the room are very good, and the yard is also very beautiful.I'm so happy to experience a traditional Japanese room. The check-in information is like handwritten, very thoughtful, and there is a name tag at the door.I tasted the fruit tea made by the hostess☺️ and she asked if she needed to send me to the station the next day.The house is downhill under another smaller entrance of Koizumi Shrine, and the surroundings are quiet. It was raining on the way there. At first, I walked to the main gate of the shrine (actually, I could just go through the shrine), but I met a very kind grandfather who searched the map and sent me to the door. I was really lucky.I came across a delicious restaurant nearby.

Very peaceful place to stay. Do not visit if you don't have a car. Keiko was a wonderful host providing us with an authentic Japanese breakfast, which at times was a bit much but very tasty indeed. Do not visit if you enjoy city life because this is very far away from any such business.

Overlooking the Yoshino River! You can enjoy BBQ in the sunset and garden.Limited to one group per day!

千里Rating, 5 stars4 days ago
It was a very nice old house that felt nostalgic, like the game "My Summer Vacation" that was popular in the past! It has a veranda, a BBQ in the garden, and a large living room. As a Japanese, it was a very calming inn that reset my mind. There is a full range of appliances and kitchenware, and the bedroom on the 2nd floor is clean. Personally, I would have been very happy if the bathroom had a bathtub, but the room was so nice that I didn't mind. (Because it was sweaty in June and the surrounding hot spring facilities closed at 18:00) Three things to note for those who are reading this review. ① You cannot go directly to the front entrance by car. The parking lot is far away, so you can't park sideways. ② You will need to walk a short distance from the parking lot to the inn and climb a hill, so if you have a lot of luggage, you will need to divide it into several trips. ③ Please be careful if you have weak legs, as the stairs to the 2nd floor have a steep angle with a high step height, which is unique to old private houses. I would like to visit Yoshino again next time.
