Warm in winter and comfortable in summer. There is also a free wood-burning stove, so you can spend a special time around the flickering flames. The room is a 40-tatami LDK and a Western-style bedroom, a small raised tatami room, and a Japanese-style room that connects to the free space. There is a Buddhist temple and a magnificent 1,000-year-old cherry tree, and in the fall, you can see the lovely Asteraceae flowers blooming in front of you. There is a small stream and watermill right next to it, and the sunset during a walk will make you feel like you are in the countryside. Nishimura-tei Hanare - 100-year-old old house with a kitchen & dining room

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.
