The cottage is 30 sqm and is located on a mountain pasture/mountain farm 750 meters above sea level in the middle of Härjedalen at Sonfjället National Park. The hiking trail starts at the cabin junction. The cottage key is in the door upon your arrival, bed linen/towel can be rented, then help yourself with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker in the kitchen. The mountain farm is called Nysäterns Fjällgård and has 3 rental cottages, café & bakery (for opening hours, see the website nysaternsfjallgard.se), horses, cows, goats, sheep and chickens on the farm.

The ski slopes in Skalet can be reached in a few minutes by car where there is ample parking. Fully-equipped kitchen and dining table for 8 people, two high chairs are available to borrow. NOTE! The house is suitable for hiking and cycling and in winter there is the possibility of ski-in when the top is open and ski-out for those who can imagine staking. The plot borders both the snowmobile trail and the Hovärksspåret, which means that you can easily the rest of the cross-country trail system directly from the house. Electric car charging is available.

You have a private sauna and barbecue area on the property. Hede, the town where the cottage is located, has most amenities; supermarket, pharmacy, health center, etc.

The cottage is bright in Scandinavian style and open feeling with ceiling height up to low. If you choose to spend your holiday here, you will have peace and proximity to hiking trails.
