Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Søndre Nordstrand

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

I loved staying at Frida’s place. Just about all of Oslo is walkable from there. The neighborhood is full of charming and colorful wooden houses. It’s close to nightlife yet very quiet. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The bed is comfy. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. The only people I might not recommend this place for are anyone with mobility issues, as you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft bedroom, which I found completely charming.

We had a lovely stay at Svenn’s Airbnb. The apartment was clean and very well decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. Ideal place for 2-3 people to stay, with a massive table which could host even more! Svelvik was a good place to explore southern Norway from- would recommend the walks from Spiralen and Drammen Sauna. We also walked up to Damvann lake from the apartment which was very beautiful and peaceful!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

Det var ett fint hus dock fattades lite i köket det fanns bara 4 bubbelglas ingen salladsskål inget brödfat? Sedan fanns inga garderober med galgar i rummen inga hängare till handdukar annars jätte fint och trevligt hus.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Vi hadde en fantastisk opphold hos Camilla! Huset var helt nydelig, svært rent og godt vedlikeholdt. Det var enda bedre enn bildene viste. Beliggenheten var perfekt, og vi satte stor pris på de rolige omgivelsene. Verten var utrolig hjelpsom og vennlig, og sørget for at vi hadde alt vi trengte for et komfortabelt opphold. Kommunikasjonen var enkel og effektiv, og vi følte oss veldig velkomne fra første stund. Vi kan virkelig anbefale dette stedet til alle som ser etter et koselig og avslappende sted å bo. Tusen takk for et fantastisk opphold - vi håper å kunne komme tilbake en annen gang!

Terje and Hanne are great hosts. Clear, proactive and responsive while making you feel welcome. The house is very well located and fully aligned with descriptions/photos. We had a very pleasant stay and recommend this place.

Asmund place was perfect for our family group to attend ski races at Holmenkollen. Beautiful views. Great public transportation.

The apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Helge is friendly and responsive. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook all meals. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to everything in the city. Black out shades and fans for all bedrooms would be beneficial. We had a wonderful stay!!

Joachim’s place is amazing! The location is only 10 minutes from downtown but you feel like you’re on an island far away. Close to the beach and the bus and the grocery store. The house has everything you need and well maintained. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect temperature. We would recommend to anyone who wants a city break.

Camilla & Snorre sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. I travel all the time, have stayed at hundreds of hotels and dozens of airbnbs now. This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at any place I’ve stayed. The house was close to my friend’s place, perfectly described, very clean, and we felt like we were at our own home. To make it even better, the communication from Vilde was incredible! She was very kind, friendly, provided recommendations, waited for us to show us around, and made sure our stay was perfect. She even did the same things, like ensuring there were local treats for the kids, coffee and tea, and everything you would need if you like to cook! The entire house, including bedding and towels, were super clean. If you like to cook, this is the place for you! The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. In addition, the bathroom was amazing! Big soaking bathtub, rain shower head, and heated floors! Felt like being at a spa. I don’t usually leave written reviews but this was so amazing I had to
