Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Sololá Department

We had a great stay at Augustus’ place. Taking the path along the water, it’s 5 min walk to the main pedestrian street of San Marcos. Place was spotless, and the view and entryway patio is awesome. There were some water issues of first days, heat and pressure, we let Augustus know and he was able to resolve quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely beautiful place!! Highly recommend for some peaceful nights & exciting days to the neighboring towns. Guy was super easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home. The staff and recommended drivers (boat & car) were fantastic. We had such a great time!

I can not wait to stay here again! Be warned no ATM in town plan ahead. The hike up was harder than I expected but was manageable. Perfect spot for a solo traveler boats started coming to Jaibalito around 6:15am every morning

Carlos is an extremely friendly and responsive host who lives on the property in a separate fully contained unit. His motto," Mi casa es tu casa" is evident in all the interactions. He provides eggs from his 14 chickens to start your day. The main house that you stay in has two bedrooms with queen size beds that are comfortable. There are two lofts with steep ladders that could accommodate more but we did not use. There is another attached unit with a queen sized bed and kitchen but we did not use them. The kitchen has all the utensils you need but could be organized a little better as it feels a little cluttered. There is a water filtration system in the house for your drinking water. We had ample hot water for showers but not in the sink in the bathroom. The area feels very safe and for Pana is relatively quiet except for occasional barking dogs. The house has a lovely garden that Carlos takes a lot of pride in and is frequently watering. Overall, it provides a good value..

Wow I can’t believe how beautiful and affordable this Airbnb was! I originally had only rented it so we can be closer to the port to transfer to Panajachel. But we were welcome by the most beautiful view I seen, the apartment itself is so spacious and because it’s in a Hostel it has so many amenities including a rooftop with a view and hammocks. I was so sad that we only spend a day here as this could have easily been my base camp for the whole trip. Super convenient location, clean, and the view… wow. What a great find!

The photos truly don’t do this place justice! It was absolutely stunning and live up to everything we expected and more. The added bonus we didn’t realize we would have is Jorge. He was such a huge asset to making us feel at home and safe. He also helped us while in San Juan. He is a great guy! We will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful spot! the view really was incredible. The place was clean and well equipped, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. as a few other reviews said, there is a restaurant next door that played loud music in the evening, but it was always over by 9:30pm so it didn't affect our sleep.

Harsimar’s place was beautiful, peaceful, private, and comfortable. I especially loved the location being close to the docks, shops, restaurants, and the nature reserve. Harsimar was so helpful and proactive giving instructions to find the place before arriving. I highly recommend and would stay again!
