Our 6 rooms were built on an old coffee farm in the center of Panajachel. We are surrounded by peace, native trees, gardens, endemic birds, and pets. Our central location gives you easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bars, and the most popular places.

Authentic Lakeside Hotel Room #12

Come enjoy the beautiful Atitlan Lake in San Juan La Laguna. Casa Mama Lia is of the best location of the lake, while still having an authentic Guatemalan feel. Perfectly located, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the dock and the village, center in a very quiet area of San Juan. The hotel is a dream come true for our family. We have been building it for 10 years and we opened a few weeks ago!

Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this lovely place to stay. We are located a few steps from the ship where you can take you to know each of the magical villages that surround Lake Atitlán, and you return to rest to your room, or taste an aperitif on the terrace.
