“Please note that it is not in the city of Lisbon but in the Armada area on the other side of the river, because access from the city is slightly poor and you can approach by bus ② or train, but the bus of ① is the last train. However, there is no merit other than that you can use a 24-hour city transportation ticket because it is congested early in the morning. The railway of ② is a little expensive because the railway crossing the bridge on April 25th is private railway, and it costs 3.2 euros one way. In addition, both the bus and the train, the location of the first station (stop) to Lisbon when going from the Armada side is bad, so it takes about an hour and a half to go to the Belem Tower from the inn. However, the room is very clean and the host is kind. It was a bit chilly when I discovered soy sauce when I was allowed to use it in the kitchen. Hot water is enough, and I think it would have been the best if I had this facility in the city of Lisbon.”

“David's place was marvelous! It's less than a minute's walk from the beach. The place is cozy, clean and safe! We were received with a 2006 Herdade do Sobroso (an Alentejo region) bottle of wine and, not only that, but the house has it's on grape tree by the door! We had very nice dinner's outdoors as there's an external area in front of the house with a tile table and beach chairs. We were greeted and welcomed by the neighbours passing by. David's mom, Dona Lulu, lives just accross the road and is very welcoming as well. Both David and his mom were very friendly and helpful, always ready to help with any doubts we had about the house or the region itself. We had 4 nights of rest but it felt like 2 weeks, so cozy and relaxing was the place! Highly recommended!”

“I spent a month staying here while I searched for an apartment to rent and it was difficult leaving. The beach is a short 15 minute walk away and there are tonnes of bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The apartment is very spacious and bright. It's clean and comfortable and comes with some basic amenities (dishware, soap, etc). Henrique is always available to answer questions and help if something isn't working or if you don't know how to use it. He showed me around the area and pointed out things that might interest me so I knew to go on my days or nights out. The only drawback is there is no oven, but there is a stove and microwave and of you want something else you can't cook, Uber Eats is available or can go out for all manner of cuisine. It's a beautiful place and I'm very glad my introduction to Portugal was here so I could ease into life in the city.”
