Family-friendly holiday rentals in Slidell

Our family group of 14 had a great time here. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us without feeling crowded, there was so much for everyone to do. The kids were busy all the time with paddling in the water behind the house, basketball, ping pong, soaking in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows. The house was so well stocked with everything we might need and much more. This is a great place to stay with kids of all ages!!!

We really enjoyed our time in Gulfport. Lori's place is beautiful. The view was amazing. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we both slept great. The pool was nice and everyone at Sienna was very friendly.

This place was an amazing value for what is included. The people are so friendly and responsive. They have everything: plenty of space, pool, 2 hot tubs, sun deck. We are a family of 4 and had a 3 bedroom unit. Each bedroom had a full bath. We slept so well with dark, quiet bedrooms and really comfy beds. The location is perfect, smack between the French Quarter and Warehouse district so we could walk to almost anything we wanted to see and a short walk to the trolly, which we took to the Garden District. Fantastic!

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

It was a beautiful property and home! Every detail was thoughtful from pool towels outside, sun screen, charged speaker, everything you could need in the kitchen, pool toys and floats, little outdoor fire table, comfy beds. It was super clean and smelled great! The most beautiful and unique backyard I could have imagined! My kids loved the super deep pool and hot tub and so many fun lights at nighttime! Easy drive to downtown New Orleans, nice and generally quiet neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants for anything you need! My only surprise was that the hosts live on the property, which wasn’t an issue as they were very friendly, I was just unaware! It was our first time in NOLA and staying here worked perfectly for our family of 6!

Rachel & Brad were AMAZING! From allowing us to check-in early to having snacks and champagne for us when we arrived made them our BEST hostess yet!! Their response time was AMAZING! Always responded in a timely manner with whatever we needed and they had KUERIG COFFEE!! I would highly recommend them if you are staying in New Orleans, they even gave us a list of things to do and let us know about the French Quarter Fest that was happening!! This is the third winter that we have stayed at Amy's beach house. It is by far our favorite rental property and we have stayed at several rentals over the years. The house is awesome and has everything you need for a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. The location, 600 feet from the beach, is incredible and the beach is dog friendly which is very important for us. The area is very quiet with very little traffic even during peak hours. There are countless restaurants in the area including Waveland, Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs etc. All are very drivable. Amy is an excellent and responsive host. Mr. Billy, who provides handyman services for Amy, is wonderful and rapidly dealt with any household issues which were very minor in nature and easily resolved. We certainly very much appreciate Mr. Billy. We are planning on renting the house again for next winter. Thank you Amy for your excellent support throughout our stay.

Excellent location and ample living quarters; well-heeled interior design.

We stayed at Charles’s home during the first weekend of Jazz Fest and it was the perfect location. Quick Uber rides to French Quarter.. pretty much anywhere you need to go. We did swamp and plantation tours as well and those were only about 25-30 mins from the location! Check in was easy and Charles was super responsive with our “recommendation questions” :) 5/5 stars, would recommend!

Great stay, Mandie was very communicative and nice, it was very private and clean- great area, super close to french quarter. Great stay overall, 10/10 recommend :)

Anne was helpful, friendly, and responsive. This was an ideal location for us - close enough to the music of Frenchmen St. and secluded enough to be able to relax. The interior was super cute. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Such a beautiful location! It just felt so serene and cozy, my kids loved the animals and it just felt like home, if our home was an awesome barn on acres of beautiful farm land. We will be back!

Space is exactly as described in a really lovely, artful part of the city with easy walking/biking/running to the Quarter or the Bywater neighborhood. Lots of green spaces nearby. Wifi is fast and great for remote work. Lots of restaurants and places to enjoy all around. Kitchen amenities limited as mentioned by hosts, so bring your appetite for enjoying out! Good to consider for longer stays perhaps.

It’s was an ideal Airbnb with a pool and playground for my kids to play. Excellent location with a peaceful environment.

The house was just as described- actually better than we anticipated. Checkin was a breeze, the location was perfect, we parked right out front, they provided more linens than we needed and the beds were amazing. We slept perfect and no street noise at all in the master bedroom. Tons of places in walking distance and a short uber downtown. It was my husband and two kids and we had plenty of room. Would definitely and would stay again!

A peaceful quiet , comfortable place. Very charming place to stay. The pool was like a private little oasis. It was clean and cool a nice way to unwind after a day of walking around the city. Steve and Tamarin were friendly and very accommodating. If there were a ten star rating I would give them a 10

If you are ok with something close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, then rent this place. It is lovely, Deborah was lovely. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was great place to spend the weekend. To be clear we were not there to party and did not want to be in middle of the French quarter. So if you are, then maybe this is not the right place for you. But we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go, and for us it was perfect.

Very clean and cozy place. Was gated and very safe. I would recommend this place to anyone, the owners were very communicative and helpful. You won’t find a cleaner nicer place for the money !

Great place! Big enough for a family of 5. The pool was a huge plus and the back patio was very quiet and peaceful. We were walking distance to plenty of restaurants, the two we visited were wonderful! Access to the Canal street buses and trolley were 3 blocks away and went straight to the French quarter.

This was a great place for a quick weekend getaway with friends. The host was very responsive and proactive regarding check-in/check-out. We loved the small outdoor area and beach style chairs on the patio! While everything was clean, the floors were extremely slick and slippery (likely from the mopping solution?)! A couple of us slipped, and both toddlers with us did slip and fall. There are also only two parking spots, and upon arrival, one of those spots had been taken by a guest from another apartment number which was a little frustrating, but ultimately not something the host can really control. Check-out instructions were minimal which I love and really appreciate! There weren't many trash bags provided, so you may want to bring additional bags to make check-out smoother. Overall, this was a good weekend getaway spot with a very responsive and kind host!
