Monthly Rentals in Slide Mountain

Our stay at the Rosa Cabin was absolutely wonderful! Dean’s hospitality was above and beyond. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and roomy. Everything we needed was available to us in the cabin. Super close to many great restaurants and short drive to the ski mountain. I really look forward to staying here again!

This well-kept and cozy cottage provides a great base camp for exploring Mount Tremper, NY and surrounding areas, with nearby access to the Ashokan Rail Trail. Our dogs were welcome and the patio with chiminea and overarching tree canopy made for a sweet spot to chill with pups and fire at day’s end. The hosts were available if needed, but also respectful of privacy. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the Catskills.

We spent much of the winter holiday week at Douglas' Super-Charming and Secluded 1840 Farmhouse in scenic Boiseville in the Catskills. I wish it were possible to rate our stay with more than 5 stars! The house is homey and lovely and, save for some expected old-house window drafts on the coldest days of winter, very cozy. It is clearly loved by its owners. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. Even more than the loveliness of the house was the caring kindness and generosity of Douglas, the owner. Doug was always very responsive to my inquiries and texted me occasionally to be sure we were comfortable in his home. Although this was an airbnb rental, we felt like we were guests welcomed by a friend!

I had a great stay here for one night and I’ll definitely be back! The location is ideal: just minutes from some amazing hikes and super convenient to restaurants in Phoenicia. It was also a really nice touch to meet the hosts during check-in.
