It is nestled within the stunning Northern Pennines (AONB) UNESCO Global Geopark and sits next to the historic Nenthead Mines site, which was once a major centre for lead and silver mining. Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is on the C2C cycle route, it is also next to Isaac’s Tea Trail and only a drive away from the Lake District, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers.

Cosy and romantic, accessed via its own private gravel road across the fields, the Bothy is within easy walking of the dramatic central section of Hadrian’s Wall. The isolated rural nature of the Bothy is perfectly suited for couples, families and very remote remotely working!
