Vorsabær Apartment is very well located for couples travelling in the Golden Circle area. Please notice we are 25 minutes drive from Selfoss town in the middle of the Golden circle area. From here there are 15 minutes to Flúðir, 30 minutes to Þjórsárdalur and within 45 minutes to Geysir, Gullfoss and þingvellir Nationalpark. Check in is very easy, a keybox outside the door. This luxury house is located in a beautiful private place in the middle of the Golden Circle. Enjoy the northern lights without any light pollution. We want great comfort for our guests, all beds are with high quality bed linens from Lin Design. The kitchen is well equipped. The terrace is equipped with furniture and a Weber gas bbq. A small river with trout fishing is nearby and our guests are welcome to fish (included). We have a lot of horses and guests are welcome to take a look.

Our newly renovated cottage is in the centre of the golden circle overlooking the Tungufljót river. There are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers from the house. The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.

Cow cabin- Unique and beautiful farmstead !

The Cow cabin was the farms cowshed in the past. On the outside we preserved the old rock laying and the architecture style but mixed old and new styles on the inside. We recycle and repurpose as much material as possible while building it and we and our guests are more than satisfied with the outcome. You walk in to an open space where there is a kitchenette and pull-out sofa. Further in there is a wc with a shower and at last a beautiful and romantic dbl.room.

No city lights or lights from neighbours surround that disturb your incredibly and inexpressible northlight view.
