Villa holiday rentals in Skala

Villa Anna commands a fantastic position. A very short walk (literally at the end of the driveway) to the beautiful beach and a number of brilliant tavernas. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, offering privacy and luxury. The villa was immaculate, with spectacular views. Excellent sun loungers and various areas to enjoy the sun, or seek out some shade, we were very comfortable and happy. A bedding and towel change mid week was welcome. Lovely bathroom/shower rooms, with plenty of hot water. Some well stocked local supermarkets within easy walking distance, but be prepared for the steep hill to one of them. Ample parking at the villa, there are quite a few steps up to reach the villa which is above/behind Villa Paloma, which has a sign on the beachfront road.

Had a lovely stay, highly recommended. Every detail has been thought of inc external mosquito window nets so you can open the windows without getting bitten and lots of nice small touches such as fresh bread, water and fruit upon check in. It’s a very clean, tidy villa in a quiet part of the village/town. It’s ideal if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday. It’s only a short 5-10 min walk to the local restaurants and shops.

Absolutely stunning property with breathtaking surroundings! We spent most of our time around the gorgeous pool area, which offered incredible mountain views while still feeling completely private and peaceful. The outdoor space was beautifully designed and truly the highlight of our stay. Inside, the house was equally impressive, with thoughtful little touches throughout that made everything feel extra special. The host was attentive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making our stay smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended, one of the most beautiful air bnbs we have stayed in.

First time in Kefalonia and wanted a great place to stay. Saw the pictures and when we arrived, Harilaos and his lovely family could not have greeted us better and their place is incredible. The pictures are great, but the reality of this place is amazing. Their attention to detail on everything was incredible, as well as their assistance on arrival to recommendations for restaurants to their gifts. This is not just a property but an experience. All their restaurant recommendations were great so do take them and the Obelix takeaway is great if you want to eat in. You need a car to explore locally and the island but you will not find a better place or host. Thank you to Harilaos and your lovely family. I am sure we will be back!

It was a truly beautiful place to stay, with the most welcoming and accommodating host (who gave us lots of little treats!) We had an excellent and comfortable stay. A car is a must as it is quite rural, but we were given lots of recommendations, that were appropriate for our family. Thank you!

What a place! We were absolutely thrilled with this accommodation. It was better than the pictures. It’s extremely well maintained. Private, comfortable and well appointed. Dionysis was an outstanding host, he had great recommendations and was incredibly friendly and responsive. It’s in a lovely quiet location but close to all the spots. We’d definitely stay here again in the future. 100% recommend

A truly unforgettable stay in a villa that feels like a dream:spacious, beautifully designed with seamless indoor-outdoor living & framed by breathtaking views of the sea. The pool was pristine, the setting peaceful, and just a short walk away was a turquoise cove perfect for morning swims. We especially loved the nearby taverna, full of charm and hospitality, which even brought delicious meals straight to our villa table. Athina was the most thoughtful host. She welcomed us like old friends, stocked the villa with essentials, and gave us amazing local tips for shopping, dining, and exploring. Her warmth and care set the tone for the whole trip. Her husband welcomed us just as warmly at the taverna, adding to the sense that we were among family. We were also travelling with my 81-year-old mother-in-law who has mobility issues, and Athina went out of her way to reassure us and explain access so we could relax and enjoy every moment. Amazing Villa! Exactly as described and pictured Leo was extremely helpful from the minute we arrived, to the minute we left. Always on hand when we needed something He was able to provide taxis for us every day for 6 people. The villa was very clean, the outside cleaned every day, the inside every 3 days and linens and towels changed. The local supermarket and coffee shop was around a 10/15 minute walk. Otherwise, you had to get taxis everywhere We had a bbq one evening and the cleaners cleaned it for us the next morning, which was great Overall a really great experience and would definitely recommend!

We've just had an incredible two weeks here, one of which was six handed including a one year old. Everything was absolutely perfect. The villa is exactly as described and is spacious and comfortable with every amenity one could need. The area is extremely quiet and the views from every room and the pool area are stunning. Panos was a great host and responded promptly to any requests as well as checking in with us regularly to make sure we were happy. Altogether a magical place and we can't wait to come back to this beautiful home and island

The villa is really great and everything was very clean. Wonderful view of the sea and the sunrise. The terrace with the whirlpool and the illuminated garden is beautiful. Approximately 100 metres through the garden to the sea. Be sure to bring water shoes for entering the sea. It is wonderful for swimming and snorkelling. Communication with Dimitris was flawless and friendly, he was very helpful and made suggestions for the area. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We have recently returned form 5 relaxing days at this villa. The villa had everything we needed - and more, with many places to spread out and relax with a big group. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by Theti, who remained on hand in case there were any issues (which there weren’t 😀) and the housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. Importantly, the kitchen was very well equipped and during our stay we enjoyed meals at each of the three outside tables. Carlos couldn’t have been more helpful, both before the trip (with a detailed booklet of things locally and further afield, as well as responding quickly to queries, seeming to be happy to be of help) and during - via Theti, who was more local. We hired a car through Carlos’ friend and this was the easiest and quickest car hire arrangement we have experienced - even coming out to change the car for us after day 1 (when we realised we should have a bigger car for our group!). Thank you Carlos for a fabulous stay.

We had a fabulous week at Villa Kanali. The villa is in a great location in Lourdata, in-between two lovely beaches. We loved the beach going towards kanali in particular with beautiful spots for relaxing and glorious turquoise waters for swimming. The villa has fantastic outside space with the pool a real bonus. Having en suite bathrooms for each bedroom was ideal, giving everyone space and privacy, which was great for 2 adults and two 17 year old girls. The location of the villa gives great views of the main beach, whilst feeling very private. We loved Lithero taverna which is next door to the villa, where we ate 3 nights out of the 7. The villa was spotless, and had everything we needed to eat in as well. The hosts were very responsive with clear instructions. Anamaria responded very promptly to queries we had, working with a brilliant local team who were quick to help when needed. Thank you for being great hosts and for the stay in your wonderful villa!

A beautiful home, in a beautiful location, was paradise...the local restaurants were all so welcoming and amazing food, close to many beautiful beaches and sights, you can do nothing or explore for days on this island . Themis was great host, very friendly and helpful when we needed to ask , especially about what to do. Thank you Themis !

We had a great stay at the villa. It exceeded our expectations and was truly a beautiful place to relax. The view is unmatched with incredible sunsets! The villa has everything that you need, and is in a very private location. William was very helpful and responsive both before our stay, and whilst we were on the island. He was able to provide lots of local recommendations and nothing was too much trouble for him. The villa was easy to find and easy to follow instructions were provided prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we would love to come back in the future.

We had a wonderful week in one of the best villas we have ever stayed in. Eva was very helpful and responsive before we stayed. George met us at the villa on arrival and showed us around and explained the facilities. The villa is as stunning as the pictures show, great thought has gone into making sure you have everything you need it is well equipped with some nice extra touches. Really great wifi. The outside area is spacious, has a grill, lovely covered area, outdoor dining and heated infinity pool. There is a shared gym area. The villa is cleaned daily by a lovely team of ladies. George is also around, a great host who wants guests to have the best stay (we loved him!) It is a little out of the way but not an issue if you hire a car. We would definitely visit again and cannot recommend it highly enough.

our group of 9 didn’t want to leave this gorgeous villa. we would absolutely re-book! Zoi’s villa is peaceful and comfortable, convenient and appointed with many luxuries. the pool was the perfect temp for summer weather, our kids played all the games provided (chess, etc). we saw wild horses! the villa is a 3 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk to the Katelios beachfront row of eateries & shops. nightlife is fun & lively. the villa is also surrounded by lush landscape—grape vines, fig trees, pine trees, olive trees, and you can see the Ionian Sea from the villa. Zoi and Nektaria went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. responsiveness rate of 300%. communication was easy, *when* we needed to contact our host, but Zoi anticipated and prepared the house for every guest to have what they needed. we felt as if we were treated as family. Zoi & Nektaria were totally invested in our experience, to make it the best it could be. everything was beautiful.

This place was INCREDIBLE. We can't say enough good things about the house and the host. House: The place was immaculate. They've done a beautiful job in the design of the place. There are endless spaces to relax, enjoy the views, and lounge comfortably. The beds and couches were cozy and the views are spectacular. The Location: The house is located on the quieter side of the island and was exactly what we wanted for our relaxing vacation. It was a short drive to half a dozen or more stunning and non-crowded beaches and lots of delicious and charming restaurants. Renting a car is a must and will make exploring the area much easier. The Host: George is the best. He's very responsive and went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable. He even baked us fresh cookies for our arrival. What a gem. Recos: Our favorite restaurants (all a 2 minute drive from the house): Nobelos, Skinos, The Old Windmill Favorite Beach: Wolf Rocks Beach Stop reading this and book the place!

We had a great stay at this beautiful, peaceful villa. It looked just like the photos and had everything we needed, even some snacks and a bottle of wine on our arrival. The location was perfect. Stunning views from the pool, Isolated enough to feel quiet and private, but only a short drive to the beaches and restaurants. Our host was friendly and provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the island. She also responded quickly when we had a minor issue and got it sorted right away. Much appreciated! It's worth noting that the advertised jacuzzi is not a hot tub, only jets in the unheated pool. We were slightly disappointed to discover this, but it did not detract from our stay at all

Perfect in every way and exactly as described. A week in paradise.

Our adult family stayed here for 10 days. It was a superb setting with great views, Very quiet. The villa was most comfortable and had plenty of space. The outdoor area and pool was great. Skala was close by for good restaurants. We had a memorable stay. Highly recommend, Kristin

What an incredible place! The villa was absolutely stunning, the photos don’t do it justice. We had everything we needed, plenty of space and the view was amazing, so peaceful. Stavros was great, super speedy responses, we were lucky enough to get an early check in as our flight landed earlier than planned and were also able to have a late check out too due to a later flight (thank you so much!) We didn’t want to leave! The town was a 20 min walk and lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc to choose from. Will be recommending to friends and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future!

Our stay in Scala on Kefalonia was absolutely fantastic. The location was brilliant, offering breathtaking views that added to the charm of our trip. The villa was impeccably clean and exactly as described, meeting all our expectations. A particularly delightful touch was the host's thoughtfulness in leaving gifts for our children, which they loved and which enhanced our overall experience. Additionally, the host provided some basic essentials that made settling in much easier. Overall, our stay was exceptional, and we would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful and relaxing holiday in Kefalonia.
