Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sitka

We loved our stay in Sitka. The house was a perfect home away from home for two couples traveling together. While it is walkable from town (about a mile), we were glad we had rented a cheap car from Sitka Car Rentals (car had a lot of miles and character but way cheaper than Avis rentals). One of the best parts was being able to hike in the temperate rainforest within yards of the house. Joel and Emily were extremely helpful and great communicators. Strongly recommend!

We had a great experience! Home was spotless. A lot of thought has been put into every detail from the linens and towels, to the super-comfortable beds, the artwork and the decorative details. The location is close to downtown, trails, and the harbor, but tucked away just enough to be peaceful and quiet. Caitlin is a great host — quick to respond to questions and super-helpful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Sitka!

This house was perfect for 6 adults! It was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was so convenient.. We were able to walk to some of our tours, which made life easier and we got some exercise. I would recommend this home to anyone while staying in Sitka.

I’m a long time Alaskan who wanted to experience southeast & rendezvous with friends on a family vacation. This Air BnB was a perfect location to walk or drive to downtown sights, playgrounds, science center, scenic trails, & raptor center. Twin beds in one room were perfect for our two kids (ages 8 & 2), & accommodations were cozy & welcoming. Queen was a tight but cozy squeeze for my 6’4 husband & I, mostly due to pitched loft roofing. Gorgeous kitchen—we made 3 great meals here. Wood craftsmanship & location were what lured me to this Air B& B and I was not disappointed! Would happily stay here again. Hosts were friendly & accommodating. They had Lego’s & games for our kids. Loved the private driveway, quiet wooded scenes, & easy walk to everything I wanted to do. 5 stars!

Wow! What an awesome place! The views were amazing and the place was very clean. This is my 3rd time to visit Sitka and this has definitely been the best rental property yet. The property had all the amenities you needed and more. The attention to detail was above and beyond. Very very comfortable beds that smelled like fresh laundry soap and a spacious kitchens with everything needed. If you’re staying in Sitka this property is a must try. Host responded to any questions quickly which was really nice too.

Kacey’s place was amazing! We had such a good stay. I love all the beautiful art displayed throughout the house. We really enjoyed our time in Sitka and were grateful to stay here!

Super responsive host, excellent communication, super friendly and great recommendations. House is super cute with everything you need (coffee, utensils, etc.). Centrally located - close to downtown and attractions (Totem Park, raptor center) and a grocery store. Super comfortable bed. Didn’t take advantage of the bikes but great touch for those wanting to explore a bit.

The house and property were beautiful! Everything was clean and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The beds were comfortable and Courtney was very helpful and quick to respond when I had a question. Easy walk to the town center too!

We enjoyed our stay at Three Wolves Den so much. First of all, the view is INCREDIBLE!! The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are very nice. The bathroom is very clean and beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious and the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The living room furniture was very comfy. We spent most of our time in the dining room looking out the windows at the water. We saw whales every day we were here. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Jackie!

Great place to stay, and as described in the post. The host was available in person or by text anytime we had a question, but was otherwise very hands off. The place had amazing views of the ocean, surrounding islands, harbor, and local wildlife. We are a family of five, but had plenty of room to spread out. Ten out of ten will definitely stay there again!

Cayla was a lovely host and we had a great time getting to know her and her daughter. The apartment is spacious yet cozy and has everything you need. It’s a great location and you can walk almost anywhere in Sitka. The ducks and chickens in the back are fun to visit, especially with kids, and you really don’t hear the rooster. Cayla graciously left us books and toys for our son to play with during our stay. There was an issue with the kitchen sink and she took care of it right away. We had a wonderful time!

Katy has a beautiful home and offers great amenities like binoculars to watch for wildlife right on the ocean and wood for a beach fire. She was quick to respond to any concerns we had and was accommodating to late checkouts. Great private location that feels like home when visiting Sitka.

If you are visiting Sitka, this is your spot. We brought our toddler and it was so kid friendly. We got to borrow their 4Runner which is THE CAR to rent in Alaska. We walked all over Sitka and could quickly make it back to the rental for naptime. Tucked away yet centrally located! They have been very responsive to all of our questions and set us up for success. They also have a very friendly chicken who our baby just loved watching! Overall, we can’t wait to come back.
