Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Šiška District

Thank you very much. We had a wonderful stay of two nights. We visited the world famous Caves and the castle. The apartment is as described, very calm, very spacious, lots of privacy, own washing machine which came handy, parking space just in front of the house, and a garden full of toys for kids. Our daughter loved running in the garden and exploring it. We can highly recommend this quiet paradise after a day full of sightseeings.

Wow wow wow! What an incredible stay with incredibly helpful, kind, friendly hosts. This was such a lovely “destination” stay, a way to experience rural Slovenian living and culture. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the stay and experience. Thank you and hvala!

Everything was really nice and the house was perfect for 10 people

Overall good 7,5/10. The layout of the apartment is irregular, location is 20-30 minute walk from centre next to Tivoli park with private parking. Mobile airconditioning not in all rooms. Would recommend it, but see above and in one room you need to cross another sleeping space. Neighbourhood is quiet, the pullout bed is 5/10. Overall still good value.

The house was great for us. A typical old country house, but renovated and with everything you need, like equipment. There was a parking space in the yard. We had three cars. The village is clean, tidy and very peaceful. Tommy's a great host. She met us at the place, explained the house rules in a very similar way. He answered our questions very quickly. He gave us extremely useful tips on sights, food, travel. If we decide to visit Slovenia again, we would be happy to stay with Tommy again!

Beautiful house in beautiful, quiet surroundings with its own stream in the garden. The drive is a bit adventurous over a serpentine road, but easily accessible. We felt very comfortable.

The place was homey, comfortable, well equipped, and clean. The property is situated in a relatively quiet neighbourhood and within reach of numerous Slovenian highlights by car. The host was also accommodating to our needs, especially since we travelled with a toddler. We highly recommend this place! We consider staying here again the next time we visit Slovenia!

We absolutely loved our stay at Karmen’s cozy little apartment in the heart of nature! The peace and quiet, with only the sounds of birds and trees around us, was exactly what we needed to recharge. Our doggo was in heaven—running around outside and exploring nonstop. The pool was such a treat on hot days, and we spent so much time just relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Karmen and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming—such a lovely couple! 💛 This was the perfect romantic getaway for us (and a dog-friendly one too!). We already can’t wait to come back.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay here. Robert's communication before arrival was quick and he was there to show us around the apartment at check-in. The apartment itself was neat and very clean. My kids enjoyed the fact that the whole family could sleep together in one room. I enjoyed the fact that even though this is a smaller sized apartment, everyone had an actual bed! Robert was very kind and gave helpful tips. He even called a friend in the know when we asked about the closure over the mountain pass to give us the most accurate information. Great two night stay for our family here. Thanks, Robert!

We only stayed one night, but it was the perfect way to say goodbye to Slovenia. The hosts are incredibly kind and attentive, and the outdoor space is truly amazing. We had a lovely late afternoon by the pool, playing ball with our son, such a special moment. The house stayed pleasantly cool, which was perfect for the hot day we had. Excellent hospitality. Vojka and family were wonderful. They welcomed us to their garden with lots of pets and we had lots of fun.

It's hard to do any better in terms of location and the beautiful shared terrace and pool were what really made this option stand out (at least in summer). Other than that, everything was as expected with the apartment being clean and communication efficient. Would recommend.

Great place to stay. Dejan’s place makes you feel right at home. Nice quiet area of town with a little creek running through the back. Very peaceful and good proximity to other places in town. Also close drives to other cool towns and places. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love Tina's place. Cozy, modern tastefully furnished , pristine clean , big bathroom with washer and dryer and a fully equiped kitchen . All the comforts of home one can think of. There is also free parking in the building which we did not use. Locationwise was perfect. For food, there is a well stocked supermarket right at the doorstep with several restaurants/cafe nearby. The train and bus stations 5 -6 mins walk away and Ljubljana main sights (dragon bridge, old town, Lublajana castle, etc) reachable with 10-15 mins walk. Although there were some noise from the train tracks opposite, we could barely hear it with the windows closed so managed to sleep well (note I am a light sleeper). Tina is a flexible and responsive host. She allowed us early check in and replied to all my queries promptly. If we do visit Ljubljana in the future, I would definitely book Tina's place again. we had a great stay with Alenka. The apartment gave what it promised, and the city center was easily accessible with a bus. The stores were near and three people fit to the apartment great! Thank you!

Very nice stay, as described, constant communication and very helpful host

This place was a thousand times more beautiful than the photos – truly a hidden gem! We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was very private, spotless, and had such a cozy, homey feel. It instantly felt like a warm embrace. Rudi, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything. He genuinely went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at ease. A lovely bonus was Luli, the outdoor cat who belongs to the property. Just like her owner, she made us feel right at home with her calm and friendly presence. She always made our day when she came by for some food and some pets. After ten days, saying goodbye was bittersweet – it really started to feel like our little home. We honestly can’t recommend this place enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Worth every penny, mainly because of the location. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing location with nature, high above a city where there is no noise. The interior of the house is very beautiful, tidy, modern, enriched with everything one needs to relax on a busy day. Commendable to the host.

The accommodation had everything we needed and more - it is super equipped and the breakfast is very rich and designed with many different options. Dobeno is super quiet and blessed with an amazing view, yet very close to Ljubljana, great. We would have liked to stay longer - unfortunately we had to move on. But we will definitely visit Slovenia again - and this accommodation will definitely be at the top of the list.

Marco, the host, is friendly and quick to respond to messages. The place was clean and spacious, with two of us traveling,so it was perfect. It's not in the old town, but you can walk in 35-40 minutes on foot. We love walking so it wasn't a problem. By the way, bus 6 will also take you into the old town. Ljubjana is beautiful, the place is clean and calm. If I'm around again, I'll reach out to Marc again and recommend it to others!
