If you are looking for a good value stay, this stay is for you. The location is fine, but you do need a car to discover the island. We found the location super nice, because from there we often went hiking at Coral Tabak. This is the east part of the island. All the necessary amenities were provided and we enjoyed the hammocks on the terrace. Ingrid is a friendly host who responds quickly.

I really enjoyed the time we spent at Dorin’s place in Santa Catharina. The tropical garden and the nicely renovated house made it a great place to return to after a long day in the Caribbean heat. One thing I really appreciated: for a two-sleeper, there were actually four decent pillows provided: two firmer and two softer ones. Also, getting exceedingly rare in moderately affordable rentals these days: things like shampoo, towels, beach towels, pepper, and salt were all provided. Not leftovers from previous guests, but included. What really stood out to me though was Dorin himself. Even though my stay was short, you could tell he knows his way around hospitality. If I had a question, he’d reply quickly or come over to the apartment, and he was always looking for a way to sort things out. You could tell he treats his guests how he’d want to be treated.

Everything was good and the place met our expectations! It was located in a quiet and peaceful location. The residents of the resort are just as welcoming with visitors. Patricia who was hosting us made us feel right at ease. She was available to us and recommended places to visit (restaurants, hicking, etc.).
