The Garden Cottage is a cosy and charming detached two storey cottage set within the garden of a family home on one of Edinburgh's most desirable streets. Recently built, The Garden Cottage is very comfortable with underfloor heating and plantation shutters. Entering into an open plan living space, there's comfy seating and a smart TV. There is an attractive kitchen and breakfast bar for dining. With a shower room on the ground floor and stairs lead to a huge bedroom and desk for home office.

'Silverknowes Suite' is a small, newly renovated, light and airy ground floor studio with own front door, kitchenette and ensuite. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within 5 minutes walk to bus routes to the city centre and 10 minutes to the airport bus stop. By car, the city can be reached in 15 minutes. There are beautiful nearby walks down to the Forth River front and beach. The suite is attached to our family home but the connecting door will be kept locked ensuring your privacy.

Our large family home in Blackhall is perfect for visits to Edinburgh and beyond for families and groups. A short journey from the airport or into town with a large outdoor space with all the ‘mod-con’s’ you will find our home a relaxing place to enjoy yourselves. We have four large double bedrooms as well as sofa bed in the snug. A modern kitchen/diner/ sitting room, a kids play area with trampoline a sunny conservatory, large bathroom with bath and shower as well as living level WC.

When booking please let me know your estimated check in time. Bright room facing the waterfront in Granton Harbour, approx 3 miles north of the city centre. The place is connected by buses 9, 22, X37, 19, 16 and 17 (airport). Elevator + 1 underground car park available. Guests can use the kitchen and have your professional latte as much as you like. There are also cereal and milk. We have 2 kids (1 & 5yrs old). We also have a cat. The cat litter is in the bathroom but is kept tidy.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle
