“Juliet’s place is tucked away in the countryside yet close enough to the local village to not be completely isolated. The information pack in the living room is a very thoughtful touch and we sampled the local takeaway ‘Purple Garlic’ during our stay which did not disappoint. The space itself is compact but functional and it’s clear that it has been furnished to a high standard - particularly the bedlinens which were exquisite. We stayed with our 5 month old which was absolutely fine and the travel cot was a lovely touch. I would not recommend it for families with active babies due to the size of the space, but it is a lovely retreat for couples or those with younger ones. Juliet was really helpful throughout and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and her lovely loft to our friends and family!”

“Cheap and cheerful place to stay for a short train ride in to Skipton. Silsden has a few nice pubs all close together and choices of takeaway for on the way back to Kirsty's place. The room was comfortable and the dining area was very handy.”
The Weaver’s Workshop is part of Cuckoo’s Nest Farm a Grade 2 Listed, traditional 18th century Yorkshire farm. A cosy studio apartment in a tranquil setting. Located on Addingham Moorside, between the spa town of Ilkley and the market town of Skipton on the edge of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales.
“This is a beautiful little place tucked away in the countryside. We were blown away by all the thoughtful touches and eco-friendly amenities. Fresh bread, flapjack, jam, butter, beer, juice, yoghurts (we mentioned we were vegan so Graham left us a soya milk in the fridge!) Environmentally friendly products eg. washing liquid, toilet roll, bamboo sandwich boxes. There was everything we could possibly need. Comfy bed, powerful hot shower. The place felt warm and comfortable despite the chill outside. Plenty of great walks really close by. Thruscross Reservoir was a particularly beautiful walk, and the Swan Inn in Carleton, Skipton, was delicious (both days)!! Graham was a fantastic host, and we would recommend anyone who's looking to stay in the area. Thanks!”
