Very nice family run stay. Perfect location if you want to climb Sigiriya and/or Pidhurangla. Amazing view of Lions rock also.

Great place to stay. AMITH your host is super lovely. Very helpful with everything. Huge delicious breakfast He also grabbed us some ice from the shops as we couldn’t find any en route. Super clean room and bathroom. Probably the cleanest we have seen in Sri Lanka. Sunrise cottage is nestled away from the Main Street with all the restaurants which are easy walking distance. AMITH organised a tuk tuk to Lions rock leaving at 5am. Definitely worth going this early to beat the crowds and heat. Also to see the sunrise from the top. Definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay here, my favourite place in Sri Lanka! Everything was clean, smelt amazing and the pillows were so soft I wanted to take them home. The family was extremely helpful and present; My boyfriend was very ill (Crohn’s flare) and even with the language barrier, they made me feel calm and offered solutions. It is a serene area, with small shops nearby (5-10mins walk) to pick up water and snacks. You can also walk to the entrance of Lion’s Rock. Great location away from hustle and bustle. They also organised a safari for us which was amazing. And now for the food - every bite was perfection. You have to eat here. We had amazing Sri Lankan food on the first night and Indian Butter Chicken Masala on the second, which was delicious. Breakfast and desserts were stunning and fresh. We were so sad to leave, and hope to visit again soon!

Hidden gem in Sigiriya. I loved every single thing about this place - from stunning treehouse to warm and friendly host. Asitha took such great care of me, always making sure everything was good and helping me to get wherever I wanted to go. The treehouse was so beautiful- Brand new, spotless, and beyond my expectations. Lastly, the breakfast! Omg it was soooo yummy and the portion was huge! I honestly can’t express enough how lovely my stay was. I am so grateful for the experience and feel lucky to have stayed there. 1000% recommended. Thank you so much for making my stay in Sigiriya so special and unforgettable.
