This accommodation was the most beautiful we have ever had. We are in our mid-40s and travel extensively to all corners of the world. The villa is located on a hillside overlooking the Pacific, surrounded by tall trees, bushes, flowers, like a small private jungle. Animals pass by. We saw howler monkeys, macaws, toucans, lizards. Wonderful. The pool is great. Everything about this accommodation is perfect! We were hidden, private, embedded in a paradise! Communication with Jess and her team left nothing to be desired. We were presented with all the information in bite-sized pieces, bookings were made according to our wishes, directions and meeting points were precise. The value is great. Uvita is a sweet place, cosy and not so touristy, everything is quick to reach: bakery, supermarket, two national parks, countless dream beaches and waterfalls. Nevertheless, you have absolute peace in the villa. We have never experienced anything like this. Thank you Canavida!!!🙏👌

Amazing house, pool, and location - close to everything in Uvita, yet secluded. The pictures of the view from the deck and pool don't do it justice. The house was very clean, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this home to others.

Cecile and Carla are the most welcoming hosts who made our stay very enjoyable. The property is stunning - we especially loved the pickleball court and infinity pool. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing retreat away. There’s a lot to do in the neighboring towns but also a lot to do should you want more of a staycation experience given how expansive and beautiful her place is. While it can be difficult to learn the way up the mountain initially, Cecile was incredibly helpful and the roads held up well despite the rain. She anticipated our every need such as ensuring we had spare lamps in case of power outages with storms that are typical in Costa Rica. Please follow her instructions and get that 4x4! Also know that it is at least a 4hr drive from SJO. I highly recommend booking at least a week long stay here - it’s truly a jungle oasis with the best hosts who make you feel right at home and go above and beyond. Thanks for an incredible stay! 10/10 would book again.

Very clear instructions on where to go and how to get into the house when you arrive. Easy checking in and checking out. Location is beautiful! VERY short drive to a lot of restaurants and a large supermarket. We bought groceries and cooked breakfast most mornings and a couple of dinners. There was plenty of kitchenware, a great stove, and an outdoor grill that made cooking easy. The one thing to note if you are from the USA, is that this is a Costa Rican style home. There is no air conditioning in the kitchen, and no indoor living room. Sitting spaces are outside with no climate control. The bedrooms are spread out, and the only access to most bedrooms is from the exterior balcony or patio. All bedrooms had their own air-conditioning units and were very comfortable to sleep in at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and the property is gated. We felt completely safe staying there with seven kids in our group. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay again!!!

This was incredible place to stay and I would love to return again. The photos truly don't do it justice. As per the description, a 4x4 vehicle is necessary to get there. The location is great in that you can drive to a number of beaches and activities and I wish I could have stayed longer, but I was heading to a wedding and staying with the other guests. I was up at 4 am both days to utilize the public spaces including access to a communal kitchen and pool. I also hiked and swam a waterfall on the property twice and saw monkeys and a number of beautiful birds on the property. The spa hit the spot and watching the sun rise over the mountains and ocean with a whirlpool massage was a great way to start the day. Pascal was a great host and I'd love to start planning another trip!

One of our most beautiful Airbnb rentals in Costa Rica: the watchword is relaxation and a perfect environment. The accommodation is a perfect match for the listing, better in real life than in the listing, which is rare. A lot of useful equipment is available. You feel at home with an idyllic setting where you can see howler monkeys, toucans, parrots, vultures, multicoloured birds and basilicas (crested lizards) sunbathing near the pool. Everything is in place for a wonderful and relaxing stay

We loved our stay at Christina’s Airbnb. It was incredible to be right in nature with all the sounds of the jungle. We heard howler monkeys every evening and morning, and all the smaller critters were basically giving a free concert every night. A family of capuchin monkeys visited us in the trees which was so beautiful to watch. Also loved seeing and listening to all the birds. We saw countless toucans. Having the shower outside was a treat too and so relaxing. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. We’d love to come back!
