From Kansai Airport, I am there in just 15 min.We rent out the entire mansion (old house) of a genuine Japanese traditional merchant.Oil is the name of our house. It's not just a guest house, but just your family and friends, and enjoy a relaxing trip to Japan without worrying about other groups. This inn is also popular with people who are interested in traditional Japanese culture or enthusiasts of anime such as Ganjing Blade and Naruto.It is an old house, but everything has been renovated so that guests can have a comfortable stay. Guest House Agae is a renovated traditional house that can only accommodate one group at a time. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. We can also provide personal guides, so please let us know. Prices do not include meals. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains, and located close to the World Heritage of "Kumano Kodo" You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We have no meal service since corona pandemic 2020. We only take one reservation everyday so house is yours to use privately.

This guest house is located in Nigishima-cho, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. Nigishima-cho is located in the southern part of Mie prefecture, and you can enjoy the beautiful azure seascape called Kumano Blue. Enjoy the view of the calm sea of the port town from your room and relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a nostalgic port town on Nigishima. Kumano City is located on the prefectural border with Wakayama Prefecture, and is the best place to drive around Wakayama and Mie's famous places.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
