I will forever be grateful for the amazing weekend my wife and I spent at the Dulles Executive Resort. It was love at first sight when we checked in after an overwhelmed 5 hours red eye flight. We needed a secluded place to rest and it was far better than what we had hoped for even beyond a stretch of our imagination. Beside being conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from IAD, the DER offers so many amenities..Our host welcoming attitude left no room for reproach. Thank you Alexise for helping us check in more than 12 hours in advance. Your overall warm introductory remarks and the fact that you went beyond normalcy in order to accommodate your guests made our week end....Your unwavering commitment to excellence and definite touch of "bon chic, bon genre" is without a doubt what makes DER a beauty to behold, a place of exquisite workmanship. John's place was where we based family for our wedding at a local Vineyard. The place is located well in Somerset with access to many local vineyards. We went into Charlottesville for dinner one night, and if you have a car the distance isn't a problem. The place is super clean and the kitchen is great for making a meals with friends and family. Will be back for weekend getaway some time.

The place was very cozy, located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. It was equipped with all the essentials and was perfect for our weekend getaway. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

Well appointed and very clean. Nice layout and great views. Would like to have had access to a boat lift for our boat. Overall one of the best homes we have rented and you were very responsive. Hope to make a return trip in the spring.

This is bar none the best Airbnb/VRBO we have ever stayed in…. and that includes our own!! My daughter even said “we need to step up our Airbnb game” after our stay. The place was truly spotless. The decor was beautiful. The furniture and beds were super comfy. There were special touches such as snacks and bottled water, a fully stocked coffee bar, games and bathroom amenities. We came to visit our son for Easter weekend and we were the first guests. I was nervous about booking, however, after reaching out to Tanya. I was put completely at ease. We will book this Airbnb whenever it is available on our trips to Blacksburg. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that after football season it is going to be hard to come by as word will get out as to what a gem Tanya has created.

The home was amazing. More beautiful than the pictures could show. I love the corner lot effect. Not far from restaurants, grocery stores and local shopping. I would rent it again. I recommend it 100%
