Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Shell Beach, Pismo Beach

Charles place was beautiful and in a very scenic location. We saw cows grazing on the hillside, turkeys walking along the road, and even saw a baby deer wandering nearby. There were lots of amenities and clear instructions on everything from getting to the place to using the fireplace. One thing I would have liked to be warned about was the bumpy road to get to the house, it can be pretty scary especially whilst driving at night. But other than that our stay was perfect. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay the Fischer house. It is evident is a well loved home and we were very comfortable. Laura was kind and hospitable, letting us borrow boogie boards for the kids and the house is very convenient for our walks to the beach and to the main street for dining. Don’t miss the blue corn waffles at Hidden Kitchen.

The place was great for my family and my furry friends. Beautiful outdoor spaces and the house had everything we needed.

We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and there was 6 of us. It was perfect for our plans to go wine tasting, visit the beach, and just chill in this comfy home. Loved the beautiful French decor, comfortable relaxing areas both indoors and out. Very clean with much attention to detail. Kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. This home contributed to an overall very fun girls trip. Would highly recommend.

joseph’s place was perfect for a weekend of exploring pismo, slo, & atv-ing at the oceano dunes. plenty of room for a friend group of 8! would definitely recommend!

This is a great find and a place we would want to visit again. Lot of quiet and peace, Very close to lot of good spots but a good haven to come back to. Janice was a great host, right from the time we entered till we left everything was taken care of. Great instructions with a personal touch. The attention to details was great. Would highly recommend if you want a quiet getaway.

This property is an absolute gem! Out in the country with very little traffic. Greatc360 degree views of the local wine country. Bill and Julie's dining recommendations were spot on. The only recommendation we would make, is to have a key pad on the inside of the gate as well. We had to drive a car down to the gate so my wife could get out to go for a run. Teresa’s place was great. It has everything to make you feel like at home. She has plenty of details that make it a great place: very well equipped kitchen, she left two bottles of wine for us, some breakfast food and baking essentials in the kitchen , games and movies, beach chairs and umbrella and more. The outside patio with fire pit is great for the afternoons. Having a garage and a big driveway was perfect. And the location is great! We will definitely come back!

Booked this airbnb for a group of friends and a short weekend vacation - PRVR was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay and prior! Sandy was awesome at checking in with us and answering our questions promptly. The home perfectly and comfortably fit 11 guests. Everyone was shocked by the views and pleased by the openness of the home, making gatherings quite easy. Best time to go was during Spring given the picturesque rolling green hills! The only sad part about it was that it was too cold to swim but the outdoor spa made up for it. Getting the spa heated was a little confusing/difficult, but after reaching out to PRVR (who had kindly sent people to check on it) everything got sorted almost immediately. Great stay, would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation along the central coast!

Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb was truly enchanting. The home itself is warm and inviting, with every comfort thoughtfully provided—the kitchen is remarkably well stocked, and every room is prepared with care and intention, making it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor space, however, is what made this visit unforgettable. The yard is a haven—anchored by a spectacular eucalyptus tree that feels almost sacred in its quiet majesty. The gentle rustling of its leaves, paired with the joyful flutter of countless birds that visit the property, created a serene soundtrack to our days. The view of the rolling green hills from the house is simply breathtaking—a perfect backdrop for morning coffee or golden hour conversations. Our children were in heaven with the pool, spa, and thoughtfully curated collection of sports equipment—there was always something fun and active for them to enjoy. Meanwhile, we found ourselves deeply relaxed, soaking in the natural beauty and peacefuln

I had an amazing stay at Whitney's home! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect - a short drive to the stunning coastline I loved relaxing in the backyard, which was a peaceful oasis. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to explore San Luis Obispo.

From the moment we arrived—actually, based on Lisa's responsiveness, even before we arrived—everything was amazing! We got their late and tired, and the house was in perfect shape and ready for our arrival. The pool was heated, per our request, and the kids were able to take a quick late-night swim after a long car ride. Our dogs were in heaven with the big, and completely enclosed, backyard. Perfect! The house was a peaceful retreat after our day trips. It is a short distance to San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach, both are fun little towns with great beaches, restaurants, and shops. And then we were back to the peace and quiet, and wonderful pool and amenities of Lisa's house. The kitchen had all of the cooking equipment we needed, and more. Everything was in great shape! The beds were comfortable, and linens were so soft and cozy. The decor was beautiful. A wonderful touch was the container of smores fixings. Kids loved it!!! Thanks for a great stay! Hope to be back. We really enjoyed our family reunion at this large home. Plenty of space and a large living room to hang out. Complimentary wine tasting next door was a nice bonus.

Diane and Mike’s place is like a private little paradise. It’s quiet and peaceful. The view of the sunrise from the bedroom window is nothing short of breathtaking. Nights are clearly visible and gorgeous. You can even occasionally see the rockets from Vandenberg SFB. 10 min from the beach and hundreds of trails. Diane & Mike are incredibly kind and generous, with homemade scones to greet arriving guests and sweet bowls of fresh fruits & veggies from the garden on my doorstep, like a secret garden fairy. Oh, and Bear!! What an absolute love he is! Being here is like winning the lottery. You’ll never want to leave. It’s an incredible thing to find the right match between a peaceful long-term stay and budding new friendships.

The place was clean and nice and Carla was very responsive.

We really appreciated the privacy and security of the fenced in yard, which allowed us to relax while our dog enjoyed chasing squirrels.

Great place to stay for a weekend in slo. This was my second time staying at this airbnb and it did not disappoint!

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

Our second stay. Very quiet. Enjoyed the yard and birds singing. Perfect for two people. Keyless entry is awesome. The only complaint is we couldn't stay longer. Thank you, Cody and Lisa.

Nice spot with a lot to do around it, super friendly people everywhere. House was nice and clean and it’s in a quiet neighborhood besides the airport.

While it was a short stay, the location was easy to drive to, with clear instructions from the owner. Communication with the owner was excellent, and Susan was very easy to work with. The house was very clean, with all of the kitchen amenities you will need. At night, very peaceful and quiet. Very comfortable house and just as explained in the Airbnb description. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a lovely stay here for almost a week. This is the best stocked airbnb that we’ve ever stayed at - it had everything you would expect and quite a few things you would not expect but will super appreciate! It’s also squeaky clean and there are so many homey touches, so we felt comfortable right away. We had our 2 little dogs with us, and the place was set up with dog bowls and toys, and even treats! It’s in a residential neighborhood but near the end of the street, so it felt pretty private. There’s some noise from the neighbors but overall it’s pretty quiet as well. It’s walkable to the cute little Templeton downtown area, where there are some good restaurants. It was a great home base to explore the area from! And when you return from your adventures, you can relax and unwind in comfortable spots both indoor and out. Both Savannah and Mary are SO nice. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!
